We spent a beautiful afternoon sharing in celebrating my daughter’s bridal shower on Saturday, August 19th. The food was excellent, the atmosphere beautiful but the most exceptional part was the service. From planning to execution, we were treated and cared for in an exclusive manner. No request was too inconsequential; staff and management went above and beyond to provide an unparalleled memory. Not only were we, the planning group happy, our guests raved about the event throughout the day and evening. Thank you for making this important event more than our bride could ever dream of.

4 stars for the atmosphere, service, raspberry margarita and rooftop location! The octopus and calamari appetizers were good. The risotto entree was SUPER salty. I’ve never jumped out of my seat to find a waiter. I simply could not eat it. My friend and I requested it be replaced with a house salad instead- we were happy with that (we both had the salmon which I found pretty plain – I prefer the salmon at The District – it’s more flavorful). The people sitting next to us overheard us and noted that their risotto was also too salty. I like salt but that was inedible! I tried octopus for the 1st time, my friends really enjoyed it and insisted I try a bite. I also had the the crème brûlée cheesecake, that had not even a hint of crème brûlée …hmmm? The actual crème brûlée was delicious- my friends enjoyed that very much. Our waiter, Aaron was fantastic.

This was a beautiful spot, and the food was absolutely amazing. My family and I got some pizzas and tried the salmon entree which was perfectly crispy on the top and cooked perfect on the inside. However the one thing I will say is they were unnecessarily exclusive with their “reservations”. We realized we did not make one which was fine but we were told we could sit only at the bar on the inside of the restaurant and not on the patio due to the number of reservations they had. We sat where we were allowed, meanwhile, the restaurant stayed pretty much empty the entire time we were there. I’m not sure why they gave us such a hard time, but we definitely could have sat on the patio before ANY of their reserved spots were taken. It was a little disappointing because we did want to take advantage of the patio on such a gorgeous day. But as I said, the food was phenomenal so definitely go for that

I give Mare a solid 4 stars . I have been going there for quite sometimes now. Make sure to have a reservation they tend to fill up fast. Food is always great , salmon was fresh and the Mare sampler felt short of my expectations but I enjoyed it..Will definitely go back. This is not a kid friendly restaurant.

Truly delicious food, went for Valentine’s Day with my date the first time I went. Had a nice specials menu, and very delicious food. Plenty of parking in the lot, 2 min walk to the entrance (depending on where you park, entrance in front of building). Elevator to the top where the establishment resides. Professional staff and servers. Decent drinks. They have outdoor seating both in the summer and winter, they have the plastic igloos/domes and a heater depending on the season. Nice ambiance transition from early dinner to evening. Overall, I’ve been back to this place more than once and it’s still quality food.

I tried this restaurant for the first time. The interior is beautiful with great style and layout. The food was good, but not great. Especially for the prices. I expect a little more of a high end product for what they are charging. I might give them a try in the future, hopefully it improves.

Phenomenal service and food. The lobster bisque was light with big chunks of lobster. The strip and braised ribs were amazing. Generous portions. Genesis was our server and she was super good. Great views and ambience. You can tell the servers and staff were trained well. Some of the best customer service I have ever had.

My husband and I took my 19 year old son and his girlfriend for lunch at Mare yesterday. Starting from the outside the building itself, corridor and elevator are super clean. We were greeted my a friendly host and were seated right away. Although it was a balmy 20 degrees out, the sun was shining so it was just so pleasing to feel like you were “outside” as you’re surrounded by glass yet it was nice and warm and we could still feel the sunshine. Our waitress Ashley was really wonderful. We had some questions about the menu items and she was extremely knowledgable. You truly get high end service here without the “stuffiness” that normally comes with that. We couldn’t decide what to get so we got the grilled octopus, Brussels sprouts and squash salad as appetizers. All wonderfully delicious. We all got different meals as well, I got the monkfish, my son the steak, my husband the pork chop and his girlfriend go the lobster mac and cheese as a meal. All of it was wonderful, my monkfish was really delicious. The steak had a bit more char then he liked as it overtook the taste a bit but that was probably because he asked for it medium well vs medium. I had the apple cider sangria and a glass of white wine and my husband tried two different white wines as well which were all great. Of course we opted for the Kit Kat cheesecake and the cookie skillet for desert and we all shared and a couple espressos. The waitress was nice enough to bring the cookie skillet out with a candle for my son. I can’t say enough of Mare, the service was really wonderful and perfectly timed, the atmosphere made us want to stay for an extended period of time and the food was really fantastic. I can’t wait to come back and sit at the bar with some pizzas and wine with my husband after work.

I was so sadden yesterday by the customer service that we received yesterday. Especially the fact that it was Father’s Day. I surprised my husband with a Father’s day lunch with his father and family. The service was horrible. My husband waited 30 minutes for his drink while second drinks were coming for other people at the table. We repeatedly asked the waiter for his drink and he said it was coming. FINALLY he walked over to the bartender and asked if he could make the drink. The bartender looked confused as it was his first time hearing that particular drink being requested.
