My husband and I were driving south from Gaylord, on 175. When I googled for restaurants in Grayling, MI. We saw the ad for Margarita Grille. When we got there and went in, there was a sign that said, “We don’t serve alcohol”. This was not an issue for us, since it was 230p, but the web site stated they did and the name implies they would. When I asked the waitress about it, she stated their restaurant in Gaylord did. The name of that restaurant is El Patron.

I was going to try it since we were wanting mexica, when I walked with my service dog, I was denied” because she doesn’t have papers and restaurants don’t allow them according”to the waitress that was going to seat us. Then when I explained to her that ADA laws allow her into the restaurant she wanted to argue. I told her what she was doing was against the law and discrimination.

Not really a bar. There is no alcohol served here. The menu is extensive, lots to choose from and the prices are decent. I got the Fajita burrito. It was chicken, bell peppers, and onions grilled and wrapped in a flour tortilla, covered with cheese sauce and served with rice. The rice is terrible. And there wasn’t much flavor to the burrito, except for the cheese sauce. I asked for a side of it since it was the best tasting item on the plate. The waitress forgot to bring it. I tried to grab her for a moment to remind her, but she didn’t give us a second glance after bringing our food to the table. We weren’t even offered refills until she came to ask if we wanted the bill. I was a little bummed because a good Mexican restaurant close to home would be great. But this place misses the mark.

Excellent Mexican food! Please come here! Chips were fresh, salsa is excellent. Great service, food was hot, authentic, delicious! Best Mexican around. It’s only about 5 minutes from the highway. You should come if you’re anywhere near Grayling.
