I brought my family here on recommendation from some friends. We were a group of 18 from nephews all the way to grandparents. Food was good. They had this chicken dip in their apps that was real good. Cheese dip was kind of small. The fresh guac was a hit, although personally I found it a little bland. Needs some more spice. Overall food was good. The only reason I would not come back is service. IT WAS TERRIBLE. We came at a time just after lunch on Sunday so they had a few customers but were not busy. We also called ahead and told them we were coming. It was EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to have our waiter serve us in a timely manner. Almost waiting 10-15 min for refills or to even ask for anything. Not to mention they only had one server for our group of 18. Manager really needs to get his act together. There were other people there that could have helped our server too. But no one paid any attention to our group. Again the restaurant was not busy. Service was so bad my wife barely left a tip, and the waiter had the audacity to confront me about it in front of my family and embarrassed her. Completely unacceptable. Food may have been decent, but the staff is the worst I have ever encountered. Not coming back for that reason and will tell others the same.

This experience was absolutely terrible. I came in on a busy Sunday which I understand I’m not going to get the service expected. But the server never asked for refills. It was difficult to even ask him to put in our order. And I then explained to the server about his terrible service and he rudely tried to pass me off to another server. His name was Carlos I believe. HE WAS ABSOLUTELY RUDE I WILL NOT BE BACK. The food was decent but nothing special. We were not compensated for the terrible service. The manager never even came to talk with us. I usually don’t leave reviews but people need to know how terrible we were treated by the service staff.

I absolutely love this restaurant. This is good quality, authentic Mexican food. Whilst the decor could be updated, the food puts this restaurant as my “Go to Mexican”. I usually order fajitas, which come sizzling. The beer is in a fozen glass and the flan dessert is by far the best I’ve ever had. 10 / 10 for food and customer service.

Had a group of 19 for dinner. We were sitted promptly. Our waiter, Julio, was excellent in taking care of us. The food was very good. We were in and out of the restaurant in just over an hour. For a big party that is outstanding. Great experience.

I called once I got home to explain the order I received was not correct – I ordered at 615 tonight went to pick up of coarse didn’t check cause never had problems there – sit down two things are completely wrong. I called to explain and the man on the phone over and over argued with me saying it’s not what I ordered – I have never ordered anything different always the same! He continued to argue with me not once did he say I am sorry what can I do just kept arguing. Me and my husband both own businesses and you do not do that to customers ! I

Love this Mexican restaurant. The authentic food & great service is my go to place when in Mt. Juliet! However my experience on Friday, June 9, 2023 was awful. I was seated at the bar shortly before happy hour and there were few other patrons in 2 booths. The restaurant area was mostly vacant. At the corner end of the bar was a young man. Just after placing my order, a young child (which I learned was 6) came running in to sit next to this young man who was her father. This young child was very rambunctious and her father was consumed with alcohol and his cell phone. He mentioned to the server it was his day “to babysit” and that he had 2 other children (ages 4 snd 2) and another in the way! The other patrons in the bar area were also disturbed by this rambunctious child and mentioned it to the employees. The manager did nothing except to say they have a right to be in the bar area because it is a family restaurant. Why weren’t they offered a booth in the restaurant area? Why did the father choose to sit in the bar area at the bar? If this child’s mother did this, would she be labeled a bad mother? I expected to be able to enjoy my margarita and meal in an enjoyable atmosphere. Perhaps my expectations were to high.

A hidden gem in mt Juliet. Lunch specials are great and service is quick. I go here quite a bit and recommend the speedy Gonzales, cheesy chicken and enchiladas.
