Fantastic TexMex same owners as La Casona. The Papa Macho was fantastic fajita dish with bacon wrapped shrimps, chicken, and beef over a bed of grilled onions, peppers, and some squash. Michelada was a delight (can’t stop at one). Do ask for the green salsa it’s delicious our waitress was quick and prompt to get everything within 10 mins.

We “dine in” at Margarita Jones in West Columbia at least once a week. The atmosphere and cleanliness is a tribute to the management. The food is very good and the menu continues to evolve promoting a sense of exploration in a established restaurant. The wait staff is beyond reproach, we request Jennifer every visit. Jennifer always has a smile and makes each visit special. She has the ability to be at the table when needed, and the separation that allows us to enjoy our dinner and conversation in peace. This is a unique ability that is greatly appreciated.

Could’ve received a much warmer greeting by the young man at the door – maybe he was a new hire; however, the food was good & a very clean restaurant. Had dinner with friends. It was our first time. Margaritas were good. Ordered a hurricane drink but was disappointed because it was so small. Was nothing like ones you have on a cruise. Ordered fajitas but they did not come out smoking or steaming. They were not hot. Very few pieces of bell peppers. Chicken was not tender, not sure if that is because they had been sitting. Server was very attentive and friendly. Just for the price I was expecting better.

Normally I enjoy the Mango-nada margaritas from here and finish them. However, this time the rim seasoning and the mango pieces tasted kind of… fishy? The bartender was so nice, and I told the manager about it but he said he didn’t taste anything off. Moreover, I did end up having a minor allergic reaction after drinking the margarita due to my sensitivity to iodine found in seafood. If you have seafood allergies just be cautious.
