Located a few blocks from the Bishop Arts district, we were recommended this place by a member of our group. It took the staff 45 minutes to service our table, we were 8 people. Only 3 of us were pleased with our choices, the others thought the food was mediocre. The Barbaboa was the best plate on the table with rich flavor and size. The restaurant automatically charges a 20% service which clearly they didn’t deserve.

This is one of the few restaurants that offers vegetarian friendly flautas. They were made with queso fresco and were yummy. The salsa with the chips was delicious and the horchata was creamy and tasty. The wait staff was attentive and it was nicely decorated. Also, the music being played was modern Mexican banger after banger. I wanted to sing along lol. Will definitely come back again.

This place has good food. The menudo was good not to spicy for me. The micheladas we’re good but they are 8 dollars. The place isn’t cheap but we enjoyed sitting outside in their small patio area. Salas was delicious and spicy!

You should give this place a try! Very well kept restaurant, clean and nice. Food was great and service even better. Margaritas are fresh, and good happy hour pricing. I’ll definitely be back to try breakfast.

Darn good! Great salsa and homemade tortillas. Some of the best Mexican food I’ve had in Dallas.

I had high hopes for this spot. The waiter was great, the atmosphere was nice BUT the food wasn’t up to par. The meat on the skewers tasted old and bad. I couldn’t eat it. I even took a whiff of it and didn’t smell too great. Cook should have been able to smell it was bad meat when they started cooking it. It was that bad. My wife did order red enchiladas and received green enchiladas. She ate them either way and had nothing bad to say about them.

The food was delicious. We came here after being told at another restaurant on Jefferson that the wait was 1 and a half. I don’t regret it. I ordered the barbacoa a la Mexicana and we ordered a queso fundido. Tortillas were handmade also. My fiancé ordered the tacos. We liked it so much that I ordered on UberEats again today and this time I got the barbacoa a la ranchera it was better then the a la Mexicana. I ordered the Chile relleno and it was not that great. Seemed dry and hard. I feel like it could be better with a simmered sauce on it. Over all tho the service is great our water was amazing so kind.

This was our first time here. The food was all very good. Service was slow but that’s because they were short on staff. We ordered a Paloma alcoholic beverage and it was perfectly made. We order for appetizer the Queso Flameado so delicious. My husband ordered Chilaquiles with the green salsa. They hand make their tortillas so that was a plus. Wait staff was very nice and helpful. Overall we had a great experience.
