Stopped in here for the first time for lunch today. We were quickly greeted and seated. We ordered a beef chimicanga and the chile colorado. Both very good! Specifically I liked how the steak in the chile colorado had bits and pieces with a good char / sear on it. Sauce was very flavorful and had a mild kick. Enough to be enjoyable but not so much you’ll regret it later. The server, Kevin, was also very attentive as well.

This place was truly great. Past by it a hundred times and we finally decided to give it a shot. We were disappointed at all. Great environment, food was REALLY good and the time between dishes was was on the lower end of the time scale. And to say all the food we had, we still didn’t spend close to what we were expecting. This place will definitely see me again.

Good food. Great drinks. I had a taco chalupa and enchilada with a queso appetizer. The only reason I gave the atmosphere a 4 star is because it was cinco de mayo and they did not have latin live music.

The food was decent, but everything else was pretty bad. I had the Carne Asada, and my husband had the Pineapple Fajita. The menu said you can add shrimp to the fajita for an additional $2, which he requested. The server informed us this couldn’t be done, but he could add a side of shrimp for $6.99. Hubs said dont worry about it. He just wanted the steak. The server then insisted he would cover the cost himself. We both told him that wasn’t necessary, but he assured us it was not a big deal and told us not to worry about it. The entrees came out and were actually pretty good. Afterward, we ordered a fried ice cream, which was NOT fried and was covered in a lot of cinnamon, but it was ok. We asked for the bill and handed the server our coupon (what brought us in to start with). We got our bill, and, of course, we were charged for the shrimp we didn’t want, and we were told we have to pay before the discount could be applied. I’ve never heard of that in my life, but whatever. At this point, we just wanted to leave. Menu’s need to be updated to reflect the actual costs and the actual cost should be shown on the itemized bill.
