Wish I could rate it 3.5. It didn’t deserve 4 stars but not 3 either. Greeted at the door. Lady was friendly enough. Bar was closed at 3pm on a Friday. Took a bit to get food. 3 fish tacos. Refried beans and rice come with it. It’s what I’d call “texnex”. Chips and salsa. Be advised…they charge for a refill on Chips and salsa. It was good enough for Mt. Pleasant.

Im very picky so a 4 for food is good. They made it worth my money every time. The food is great the service is friendly and the only reason it gets a 4 is it is solid food but no frills and just put on a plate and thrown out (as it should be). Even on a Saturday we only waited 20 min for food. They provide salsa and chips so read your messages n chill. I recommend trying desserts here. They do good chimi dolce. I had a fried banana at some point last month. Try a special maybe. If you give them a bad review you hate christmas!

Was in the area and we thought we would stop and try it. Chips and salsa were served while we looked over the menu. We each had the fried chimichangas. I had chicken with refried beans he had shredded beef with rice. Both were good. Server was very friendly and attentive.

THIS IS NOT A REAL MEXICAN RESTAURANT. STEER CLEAR. Pretty sure all the meat is the processed/preserved type you would find in a bag at the grocery store ready to eat, and they just reheat and cut it into smaller pieces to look like they made it. All fajita meats were very overcooked and appeared no less than two huge sliced up onions were added to try and mask it all. Seasonings, “Mexican” or otherwise, were non-existent. It’s apparent this place is trying to save a buck by not using fresh ingredients to make your meal. Service was very good, but took over 20 min. for meal to arrive on a non-crowded weekday night. That’s NEVER the norm for a real Mexican joint, where I’m always saying “wow that came out fast!”

I ordered a margarita. Which was perfect. I also ordered a bean dip as my meal. My fiance and son ordered regular and were pleased with them. Our waitress never brought us refills or brought me chips for my bean dip. I wasn’t even able to eat what I ordered. We finally flagged down the manager, explained the situation, and we got ready to leave. The waitress finally came back, threw us our check, never bothered to see if we needed anything. By that time, I was done…terrible service. The manager was very apologetic, but my dinner was ruined.

No rum. Took a while for someone to come to us to even take our drink order. Friendly service. There was an ant crawling on the table. Margarita is pretty tasty. Food was actually really good. Made up for it taking a long time To have someone come to the table. I started with 2 stars and changed to 3.

It’s hard to find a great authentic Mexican restaurant anymore. But here is a spot that will satisfy all the cravings! Great customer service and very friendly. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed. Food was absolutely amazing and displayed in a top notch manner. Don’t forget the many tasty desserts as well. I will definitely be repeat customer!

We came here for a family member’s birthday and had a nice time. The food was excellent. The portion sizes were great and it was some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. They are clearly short staffed. We waited 15 minutes for a table and when it was finally time to be seated, we were the only ones there. We were confused on why we had to wait when there was no one there. Our drinks took almost 15 minutes to come out. The food was quick, though they didn’t wait for everyone’s food to be done, they just brought out 1 or 2 dishes at a time. By the time everyone got their food some people’s plates were already cold since we wanted to wait until everyone was served to eat. The waitress put an incredibly hot plate in front of my toddler. I asked her if it was hot and she said yes very. I would have appreciated her giving it to me instead or giving me a heads up before she sat it down so I could move my toddler’s hands out of the way. All in all it was a good experience and we will be back. I realize a lot of this was due to them being short staffed.

Do you love shredded chicken from a can? Then this is your spot! Do you expect to bite into a Mexican dish and find disgusting tasteless shredded chicken? Margaritas is your spot! Do you love mushy bland Mexican rice? Then come on down to the sadness express Mexican restaurant! I’ll NEVER eat there again. Ordered lunch chicken quesadilla. Did not expect canned chicken to be in it. Sheetz has diced real chicken in their dillas.. come on!
