Really cute place, it’s unfortunate the food and service was not so good. My hash browns were pretty burnt and hard to eat, I ended up eating what I could of the middle. When we got there, we scanned the QR code and waited to be seated. Wasn’t that busy, but no one came to seat us for some time or even acknowledge us. Some other people came in after us and got seated before? Yeah we will not be going back.

Super cool new diner downtown Fargo. Love the atmosphere and overall vibe of the place. Food exceeded expectations. Main focus is on breakfast. Must check out their salad bar. I hope to be back and try more of their menu!

Great downtown breakfast spot that serves “brunch” all day. They also have a special Brunch menu on Saturday and Sunday. Service was a bit off and on but I think it was just a lack of enough staff. Food was solid and the prices were very reasonable.

We visited Marge’s on Saturday the 5th around lunch time. We used the QR code to get on the waitlist queue (super handy!) and our wait was probably only 10 minutes, despite the restaurant looking pretty busy. We were seated in a super cute corner. I ordered a bloody mary. I hate to say this, but it was horrible. I don’t know if they make their mix or buy it, but there is no discernible tomato flavor, it’s all horseradish. The onion, pickle, and olive on top were good though. I ended up only taking 2 sips but couldn’t handle any more. Our server was very nice, but there were only 2 servers for the entire restaurant. We had to ask for water after our food arrived, I don’t think she ever checked in on us, and she never asked how our drinks were. We both ordered the breakfast burrito, which was okay. I wish it had more tater tot’s! But it was fun to try. I think the chef is who brought the food to our table – he was very polite. All in all, everyone who worked here was very nice, but inattentive. I think it’s because it was a Saturday and they were busy busting their butts. I would come back, but would not order a drink and would try something else.

Doug was an excellent server. We will be visiting this diner again. When your near downtown Fargo be sure to drop in and see Doug and the crew.

What a great place! The location, environment & set up was exactly what you think & want in a diner! All this deliciousness for well under $20!

It’s a really cool space. The decor and atmosphere is fun. The food was just ok. The pancake was good, but it’s genuinely 10-12” diameter, about 6+ pancakes worth. It was on par with the shack pancakes as far as flavor and texture, but definitely don’t need bacon or eggs with it. The bacon was over cooked and very dry. Took one bite and it shattered into my lap. The scrambled eggs were rubbery and had a weird taste, like they were cooked on the same small griddle as everything else? Phantom flavors and specs in my eggs I couldn’t quite place. Tried my husbands hash browns and those were pretty tasty, well seasoned. His breakfast sandwich was pretty small, standard biscuit size. For $10 his meal wasn’t very filling. Coffee is self serve, not well set up. (Not labeled, not a good variety of “add ins”, some toranni syrups set to the side with sticky pumps, a cup of sugar packets, some kind of cream? Half and half? In a small coffee pot, not sure if it’s insulated/cold?) on a small cabinet thing that’s kinda dirty and sticky. For $5 a person it’s pretty disappointing, seen better setups in church basements. The coffee itself tasted pretty good, and I think it was bottomless? Wasn’t made very clear, only had one cup. Had to ask for water, no refills offered on it either. Overall service was just alright to poor.

Highly recommend! Went here for Sunday brunch with my husband, he got the country fried steak . It wasn’t your typical country fried steak, very crispy and great taste. I had THE pancake which is huge !!!! Plus it comes with eggs and breakfast meat, it was delicious! Also had the bottomless mimosa and that comes with a mimosa bar, lots of options to switch up your drink. Atmosphere was friendly and fun. All staff was great and food came out quickly. We did come on Sunday and it was busy so I’d recommend getting your seat ahead of time. Will definitely be back, pricing was fair. Cute find for a date or fun time with friends.

We had been here a couple times and figured it would be another great choice. However, this time our food came out cold, but a gentleman named Doug was on top of it. He promptly replaced the food and made everything right. He is a truly great addition to the team. We look forward to our next visit to Marge’s!

I had the breakfast burrito which was good but not enough food for me. So, I ate half of my friend’s hangover hashbrowns (great) and some of the breakfast lasagna. The lasagna will be my go to next time there for breakfast.
