I went here yesterday right when they opened. It was my first time. I ordered the burrito de bistec regular and the crispy taco de pollo. Wow, yum. The burrito was the star, so juicy and packed with fresh cilantro and what I think may have been garlic. They were both really good though.

I’ve been to 10+ restarants and have ordered quesabirria. Though they aren’t on the menu, these are by far the best I’ve ever had. The meat was flavorful and juicy without being so juicy that it’s not fun to eat. The consume was nice and dark and the tacos came out blazing hot with a generous amount of cheese. This is my new favorite Mexican place and I would say it’s definetly the best on this side of martinez, concord, and pleasant hill.

Love this place. The staff are gracious, courteous and fast! You can pop in for a quick bite or relax with a full meal. TV always showing a game. Authentic!! Virginia Hills in Martinez offers a easy location, with great neighboring businesses like Starbucks, Safeway, pharmacy store and more!

Walked into what looked like a storage room, or afterthought, not a eat-in restaurant. It seems they have abandoned trying to make a pleasant indoor dining experience. They should stop serving indoors if they can’t make it at least look a little inviting. Didn’t even bother ordering.
