Best Mexican Restaurant period. I’m from San Diego and of course been to tons of Mexican places and this place is awesome. Atmosphere is top notch and service is excellent. Everything off the menu is done right and delicious. When it comes to margaritas they do it legit. No mix, lime juice ,tequila, and triple sec. Their salsa is amazing and the warm one is fantastic. Often you have to wait but so worth it. Every time I visit Dallas I’ll be here.

I guess that I am used to a later close time. The food was tasty but odd, I ordered beef and chicken nachos, and they gave me 8 tortillas, in pairs with the filling, It was good but I never had individual nachos before. Also, 3 brisket tacos and their salsa and sangria margarita were delicious!

Excellent! Everything about this place was great! Our server Erika, was super sweet and helped me create a vegetarian dish from menu items. The portions were huge! The salsas did not disappoint. Try the roasted one with a bit of the queso on a chip. You’ll be happy you did. I only wish I got a frozen margarita.

Man, we loved this place. The food was kiss the tip of your fingers, good. The service wasn’t A+, but it definitely got an a. Our server was very busy, yet he kept us satisfied. All in all I give it an A

Traveled to Dallas, and the body was craving steak, however, had a bad experience with the place i went to initially and Googled restaurants”near me.” Mariano’s Hacienda came up, looked at the ratings, etc, and decided to give it a try. This was Tex-Mex food. First of all, the structure outside is clean and well maintained, and there’s a sign claiming the first ever frozen margarita anywhere. Upon entering, it was quite busy, dinner time, and no reservations were required. I put my name on the waiting list and went directly to the bar while i waited. The bar area was small, with about 7-8 stools. Decided to have dinner there rather than in the dining room. Both bartenders were pleasant, professional, and definitely on the go. Especially because they had to tender to their area as well as dining room orders. Was served chips and salsa both mild and also with a little kick to it. I tried the house margarita on the rocks, generally no salt, and they recommended to order it w “tajin” some sort of red all purpose seasoning. I didn’t like it. It’s used more for cooking. Ordered a regular margarita…. Anyway, to start, i ordered the steak/ chicken nachos combo. The chips are large and filled with yellow/white cheese, tender steak/chicken strips accompanied with guac, carrots, pickled jalapeños, and sour cream. Delicious, well cooked, with the right seasoning. Good enough for 2 people. For the main course, i went with the fish tacos. Succulent, soft, no bones, accompanied with rice, cabbage/ lettuce, sautéed peppers, and a large sautéed jalapeño. The fish meat can’t say it enough, AWESOME!!. I was already full, especially since i kept eating the chips/salsa from the start. A bit addictive. They were crunchy, and the salsa made a nice marriage to them. I was impressed with the food that i returned the next day to try the brisket tacos with the gravy on the side. Ridiculously tasty, and the brisket was shredded, tender, and the gravy was not thick at all enough to dunk the taco in or serve it on top inside the taco It came with rice, corn tortillas, a heap of beans in a small shell, and avocado. Didn’t get to try any appetizer. One thing is certain in the 2 days i visited, the food is undeniably fresh, and tasty keeps anyone coming back for more. The service at the bar was slow, and i don’t blame the bartenders because they were on the go. This caused my experience to be a 4.4. They were courteous and professional. I don’t know how the dining room service is, but it’s always busy. Fresh food, come and have some!

The enchiladas are no joke, the chili sauce over it compliments it so well! Almost cried knowing I couldn’t get a to-go plate because of work. The torpedoes were a little greasy, but still good. Will definitely be back

It doesn’t look like much from the outside but a lot of times those are the best kind of places. No grand entrance, nothing really calling me in, and I’ll admit first impression wasn’t great. I came here on recommendation from a friend. The server was just ok but the food was awesome. The carnitas were muy delicioso and the stuffed shrimp were very good!

If you don’t know Mariano Martinez’s story, you should. If you haven’t tried his food, I recommend you do. Delicious food. Yummy drinks. Top shelf service. Fun atmosphere.

Food was pretty good here. Some of the prices are a little high in my opinion for the drinks, but they were good. The location of this restaurant is a little weird. Hidden behind a used car dealership.
