Absolutely that BEST food around! It’s a wonderful family restaurant that is nice a quiet. The staff is very pleasant and attentive! The owner is very nice and takes time to talk to you. Everything is made fresh daily. I highly recommend this establishment!

I do not normally leave negative reviews, but after this horrible experience I find it very justified. We placed an order from Maria’s Italian Resturant in Chesapeake City this evening, which was within the one hour timeframe they provided over the phone. Upon arrival, it was discovered the order was partially incorrect, and another part was undercooked / cooked improperly. I made several unanswered attempts to have the situation resolved in a timely manner with an employee over the phone. I requested several times to speak with a manager, and I was told the manager was too busy to deal with my complaint. After going back and forth with the receptionist, who was relaying communication from the manager, the manager told me “If you don’t like it, don’t eat here again”. I was advised that a refund would be in order, but have not seen any activity on the charge account I paid with as of current.

So we (the bf and I) came from Middletown to go to this place. Well worth the 20 minutes there and back. First of all it was NYE. They closed at 8. I called at 745 and asked could I still order. The young lady said yes and that I could still come get the pizza even if it was a little after 8. I wish I would have gotten her name. We arrived at 815. Most places are all too eager to lock their doors, but these ppl kept the doors open so we could get our food. Not only that, they did it with a smile and great service. So whoever was working the front counter, the cute little brown haired , sweet young lady… thank you! On top of that, the pizza was everything! We got the Special. The toppings were hefty and done just right. You know sometimes you can go places and its too many onions in one spot; didn’t have that problem here. The meat was all over. It wasn’t too saucy, like listen they made my night for it to be NYE. Thanks and we will be back with the kids 🙂

Walked in and noone was around, noone in the kitchen at all. Had to do the “hello” three times before a server came. Ordered antipasto salad and it had no pasta and mostly ham instead of salami. Got a discount on the salad when found someone in the kitchen to help, but really? Nice waitress.

We were very displeased with our service. The original girl we spoke to was very pleasant, however we were not waited on at all. We sat at our table for 27 minutes (counted on a stop watch after we noticed that it was taking while) and we ended up walking out. The waitress looked at us sitting at our table twice and continued to walk past us several times. We could only assume she simply refused to wait on us along with the other 2 tables she was waiting on at the time. We were sitting in plain view and most of the other tables were vacant so there is absolutly no reason we should have been waiting for so long. We ended up going down the street to Chesapeske Pizzeria where we were much more please with our experience including the better prices.

I don’t care what anybody says, Maria’s is the best pizza I have ever had and I want to know her secret. Everything from the perfect plump yet crispy crust to the even distribution of toppings to being cooked to the perfect temperature and time is what makes it so good.

Always receive great service from drivers and people taking my order on the phone. As someone who works in food service I can sometimes be a little picky when it comes to services I receive. The food that I’ve tried is also great. I’ve never received a bad meal.

Great pizza just will not chop onions for it. So you get long pieces from sliced onions that wont cook right and your slurping it In like spaghetti when you take a bite. Otherwise great place to eat and friendly staff.

Meat lovers pizza was the best pizza we’ve had in a long time. Crust perfect, not greasy. The sauce is amazing and the toppings were delicious and crispy.
