Maria’s Food Truck – We had our wedding in August 2023 and I can’t say enough good things about Maria’s Food Truck. The food was really good, setup/presentation was great for the taco/nacho bar and they even cooked fresh quesadillas and other food. My personal favorites were the cinnamon chips and beans. The chicken and beef also had great flavor and you could tell everything was freshly made. They were super easy to work with to get a quote, make a down payment, and figure out what kind of menu we wanted. They were really flexible and got exactly what we needed for the day. We had a lot of family members ask us where they could find them again after the wedding because they loved the dinner. They were also really nice to us and all of our guests. They had a mishap of a flat tire on the way to our reception, but were able to get it fixed and still show up as soon as possible to continue with dinner service. I am so thankful they didn’t just give up on our event when the mishap happened, as I have had other vendors in the past do so. They were great with communication, and I can’t wait to eat there again because we really loved the food, all the options we had, and how great they were.

We haven’t been there in about 2 years. Nothing has changed. Service was good and friendly. Food was not bad. Nothing that really stood out. Menudo was good but didn’t seem to be hot enough. Cooled down real fast. Soup needs to be kept at a higher temperature. My wife saw a customer reach in with his bare hands and grabbed the lettuce for tacos. I used the tongs from the cheese for the lettuce. The building is pretty old and getting ran down. Bathrooms are old and needs updating. There’s rust on sidewalls of stall by urinals. I totally respect that Maria’s has been there and in business for a long time. It’s just the environment needs a rescue. Just my opinion.

I’m disappointed. I’ve been to Maria’s in the past, but I wasn’t satisfied with my visit today. First of all, I called my order in and I was told it would be 25 minutes. Took 37, which I really didn’t have a problem with. In the past Maria’s would give you chips and salsa with your order. I didn’t get any. I asked about it and was told they don’t do that. No explanation. I’ve been to many Mexican restaurants around the Tri-Cities, other towns, and states. They always give salsa and chips. The charged me the same price as they do. I asked for a small side of Queso cheese dip. I would have even paid for it. The answer was NO. They wanted me to buy the large. Didn’t need that much…went home and ate my dinner. The food was good. No problem. I guess everybody has a bad day, sometimes.

It is close to my apartment. The food & service is always excellent. I usually get the all u can eat buffet. My favorite dish are their enchiladas & menudo. If you ever visit Saginaw, you must stop and eat at Maria’s.
