Had a fantastic dinner here! The serving sizes were very large. We got burritos, chimichangas, and quesadillas. Everything was delicious. Our server Shana was so friendly and helpful. There were options for the vegetarians in our group. Wish we lived in town and could come here regularly!

I had the tamales and my husband had a burrito. The tamales were good, the platter came with two tamales and they were so big I couldn’t finish them. My only critique is that the tamales had a very large helping of sour cream spread across them and it makes no mention on the menu that sour cream comes with them. It would’ve been helpful to know that sour cream came with them as I would’ve asked for it to be held. The young man working was not very confident in his knowledge of the restaurant’s offerings, but, he was doing his best. Both my husband and I ordered different salsas than what was served on our plates, but we understand as we were visiting during a busy lunch rush.

We decided to come here after driving to Custer on a whim. We love Mexican food and the prices seemed right so we decided to stop. We didn’t expect the food to be so so good though. It started with a combination of salsa and beans with homemade chips. We then ordered the pork tamales and steak fajitas. It was very obvious that the food was freshly made and was so delicious. The corn tortillas were some of the best that I’ve ever had. Our waitress Leslie was the only waitress in the place but regardless of being extremely busy was very attentive. She also got us our bill and checked us very quickly. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. If you find yourself in the area don’t hesitate to stop!

We were in Custer one night and decided to have Mexican. At Maria’s we were greeted by a friendly waitress. While waiting for our food, we enjoyed chips, salsa and refried beans. Our waitress checked on us several times while waiting for our food. Our food was delivered hot. We enjoyed the quesadilla and chimichanga!

This place has the best corn tortillas that I’ve ever had in my entire life! Try the corn tacos & you can’t go wrong! Red Salsa & tortilla chips were great too! The waitress, Leslie, was a pro! She didn’t baulk at my gluten free questions for a second! She was terrific! If I’m in Custer again, this is a no-Brainer decision! Maria’s Mexican all the way!
