Very cute and friendly taco shop! Staff is super nice and they were quick with the food. The guacamole was amazing! I got the Birria tacos and although they weren’t bad they weren’t the best. But that is a personal opinion based off my taste. The meat was super tender and the consome was delicious!

The food, the service, and the atmosphere are all incredible! We felt welcomed and right at home. The birria tacos are super delicious. Great rice and beans, too. We also loved the horchata! The staff are so friendly and accommodating. The restaurant itself is quaint and colorful. Definitely check this place out for Mexican food!

As a former socal guy who moved to Colorado 12 years ago I’m always on a look pit for excellent street tacos and “hole in the wall” Mexican. I found another gem here, in Matias tacos. The salsa, the tacos, hard or soft and the meats seems painstaking made homemade for a reasonable price and carries that spice I’ve missed from socal since I moved here. It’s a bit off the beaten track and a little sketchy when u pull up but man… the food… will make u gorget about all that. Chicken, birra, carnitas or Carne asada. You can’t go wrong. I didn’t get to try my favorite Mexican dish. Chile relleno. Maybe next time

I was hungry after church. Walked across the street and there’s Maria’s Tacos. I thought I’d give it try. The food was delicious. The people were very friendly and helpful. I ordered the smothered burrito. Omg, it was huge and Sooo delicious. I couldn’t eat it all.

Best mex/Tex-mex I’ve had since moving here from Texas in January. I stopped eating to write this review. Wife enjoyed the chicken burrito, my daughter loved the quesadilla and I devoured the smothered beef chimichanga. Don’t let this place fly under your radar.
