The service was great. They were really busy, but the servers and host kept everything moving. I ordered a crate your own omelette with all the veggies and cheese and it was amazing. The rye toast was a little dry and I’ve had better potatoes, but totally worth the price for the omelette alone.

Maridon’s has been a favorite for many years until recently. It is under new ownership now and the new owner puts down and belittles employees while chatting with customers, she lies about previous employees and makes false accusations that defames ones character and has even fired an employee for not being able to come in due to testing positive for COVID. Why would you want an employee at work when they have COVID? The food has always been great (with the exception of the country gravy. Definitely need a better recipe and stop putting garlic in it) the atmosphere used to be pleasant, warm, and welcoming. I have been a customer for many years but won’t go back as long as it’s owned by Tammy. I know there are others who feel the same way. Sad.

We did a search for a breakfast place before going out, and we found this little restaurant. What a great choice! We read the reviews before ordering and we took the suggestions of our server. She had great ideas for substitutions because I’m keto friendly. You can definitely tell that the restaurant has a great local crowd, and everybody seemed familiar with the staff and the menu. The portions were huge and the prices were very fair. The only exception to our great experience was that my omelet was a bit greasy. We will definitely return!
