When my husband and I got a chance to come to our beach house we usually stop here for some good meal.

I can’t say anything about the food. I only get pie here. The pies are delicious! I would suggest to try them all one by one. The last two times I went, the banana cream pie was sold out. So I just got a different pie. The front host is always friendly. One day I will dine in.

My eldest sister and I had lunch together at the only Marie Callender restaurant in the Ventura Co that I know of. But, they never seem to disappoint us. The food was very good. My sister had half a croissant turkey sandwich with potato cheese soup. I had the turkey and dressing plate. Comfort food. The service was excellent. We bought a fresh peach pie to go. I love this restaurant. Give em a try.

I used to enjoy Marie callender’s when it was close by. Drove by and found this one and decided to eat. I ordered the trio our pot pie was okay nice and warm however when it came to my cheese potato soup it looked more like macaroni and cheese , cold not very creamy and also when I got my chocolate satin pie it was almost warm. The next day my daughter and I were not feeling well.. Called Manager, and his reply was that there were no complaints and brushed us off. I will not be going back there anymore.

Fantastic “comfort food” across the entire menu. And the pies… (gotta go a la mode) can’t be beat. Our server was Sophia, who took care of us like we were the only diners on the restaurant (which wasn’t the case).

So happy there is still a Marie Calender’s in our area. We often stop by for a full quiche to take home. Still a great place for pie and coffee as well as meal time.

It’s Marie Callenders; what can I say. Food was delicious, except for the tiny slice of Banana Cream Pie. It was a narrow, puddled slice, barely an inch high, including the whipped cream. More importantly, it was not that flavorful. The fresh, hot honey cornbread and honey butter was delicious. As was my quiche, although only ground flecks of spinach … if they even baked 3 leaves in the entire pie. I’d be surprised. Again, a low profile … inflation shrinkbacks for sure.

Good pies but not worth going. Went 2x recently, both times a cop is posted doing a stop sign trap. Liked buying from here but won’t be making any more trips to this area, frankly not worth getting a bs ticket over.

Where to start…the food was good, which is the only reason this review gets any stars. As a chain establishment, you can expect the food and pie to be as high quality from restaurant to restaurant.

Dated atmosphere. Food is 70’s – 80’s “American comfort food.”
