The waitress was great. She checked on us regularly. I had the Honey Mustard Chicken salad. The chicken was hard and a bit dry (looked very processed), so they brought me a new salad with regular chicken strips on it, and that one was good. The cornbread and pies were delicious. Overall, I recommend this place.

I went to buy a few pies for my daughter’s birthday. The case was out of chocolate cream pies, and even though the other server said they were completely out, our server took the time to go to the back room to look. The German chocolate, Dutch Apple and Apple pies were so delicious. Marie Calendars never disappoints.

We did a takeout order on October 31st and it turned out to be the worst experience ever. I ordered a Frisco burger and for some reason the website would only let me order fruit as the side dish. In the notes I asked for French fries instead of fruit and my burger well done. When we picked up our food I asked if they included the French fries and the gentleman who later said he was the manager said that he was confused about the fries but would make me an order. When I got home and checked my bag the Frisco burger was with chicken. I decided that I would just eat the sandwich and more on. I bit into the sandwich and it was tougher than any chicken sandwich I’ve ever had and I realized it wasn’t cooked thoroughly. I immediately called the restaurant and I talked to the same guy who acknowledged that he was the manager, I told him about the issue and he said that my order confused him. I questioned why no one called me to ask if I wanted the burger since I noted that I wanted it well done, we could have cleared up any confusion before I arrived. I told him that I would bring it back on the next day and I wanted a refund. He agreed.
