April 25, 2023 love the food and service here! Julio was on top of his game giving us really good service. First, we were served delicious cornbread with honey butter. I had a bowl of potato cheese soup. I also had the Turkey Club Sandwich with fries. My wife had a cheeseburger with tater tots. For our beverage, she had a Diet Coke and I had Strawberry Lemonade.

Love Marie Callender’s, it’s a beautiful restaurant, not a bunch of clutter on walls, etc. A very classy look with fireplaces great table spacing. The bar is absolutely fantastic! Beautiful details like brass lion heads used with the railing. Happy hour includes 1/2 off appetizers and great drink discounts, but no one was in the bar! I think more advertisement would make a killer spot for happy hour! Also, coupons are frequently sent out, buy one get one free entree if you get on their email list!

My Dad and I had dinner here this evening and was seated right away. Then we were immediately given our drinks and menus after sitting. After given a few minutes to review and decide from the wide selection, our order was taken. Once the order was put into the system we were brought back some of the most delicious cornbread and butter. Now, mind you this most pleasant dining experience has been provided by one person, Mr. Hayden. He greeted us at the front door with a clean uniform, welcoming smile and immediate seating, he then brought our drinks, took our order and everything else along the way, as well as bussed tables that the customers left after dining. He was a one man show that was not missing a step and had a genuine smile on his face all evening. He exchanged pleasant conversations with all his customers and he was even the bar tender. Kudos to this hard working gentleman.

I went here for my birthday, & I have to say I was so sad the way the place looks after 2020 hit us all! The place was empty only 4 people there in the restaurant.. & 2 people at another table across from us, the place needed to be vacuumed like really bad our tables were not that clean & the table rocked back & forth so much we had to move over to another table next to us. The food on the menu just doesn’t look like it used to, also the blueberry cream pie I was so excited for got 1 point from me sadly it wasn’t good tasted kinda stale, but the waiter there was so kind so beautiful & very understanding that we wanted to eat somewhere else & the older couple that came in after us was so happy & kind talking to me & my husband saying Happy Birthday & was so nice to us it made my heart so happy! overall besides all of that happening the people there were super nice I wish places of business & restaurants was like this all the time with nice people the world would be such a beautiful place it really would be.

The pot pies are the bomb but ironically the dessert pies were just ok and seemed freshly frozen and thawed. Very quiet and slow not too popular. But it’s actually ok.

We had our Easter dinner here. Long wait, and no one asked for our name to write down to wait for a table. We finally got seated. Very short staffed, waitress was doing the best she could though and she was nice. The food: steamed vegetables were disgusting. Mashed potatoes were cold as soon as they were served to us. I did like the pot roast and apple pie so that’s why I give 2 stars instead of 1. The corn bread was good too. Next time we will just get dessert here. No food.

Went there with the family recently and while it didn’t take long for the food to arrive, the quality was very low, especially for the posted prices of their meals. I ordered a shephard’s pie and the vegetables inside were crunchy and underdone, the only saving grace was the pie. Pre-COVID this was a great spot to go to for a nice dinner but ever since then it seems to have shifted negatively in quality and I likely wouldn’t go here again unless it was for dessert.

Reservations for 10 people at 9:00am for Mothers Day. We were seated and received breakfast menus by 9:20. At 9:40 our orders were being taken, we had o.j. to use with champagne we brought. Immediately after taking orders,the server taking our menus informed us breakfast wasn’t being served anymore(9:40?) and the buffet was all that was available for $27.50. Very clear that this was their intention from the start. 1)we should have been told at the time of making reservations that the $27.50 buffet was it 2) if it was because of short staffing that’s a managerial issue. Some drove a distance, expecting regular breakfasts at regular prices so this was a shocker. To regroup 10 people mid Sunday holiday morning to go somewhere else was not really the best, so we tried to deal. The food was disappointing, not really $27.50 quality, some got by with just o.j., No compensation for this screw up. Not going back
