I went with a few other members of our hiking club after our hike. The dining room was spacious- plenty of room between tables. Server was very pleasant and the food was very good, especially for the price. They had a nice table with a white table cloth reserved for us. I was also impressed they came to the table with a machine for payment- all restaurants in the U.S. should do that- we are far behind Canada and Europe. Will definitely go back- this place is a true find!

This place is about as divey as you can get – a gem in the city for sure!! Huge portions, delicious food, good service and the people: great experience! Goulash with dumplings was perfect, hubs had cabbage rolls and loved them. No frills here but if you want true hungarian/polish kind of experience, go get it. Excellent!

This place is authentic and exactly what you want. From the peeling plaster ceiling to the $2 side salad with the best house dressing on the planet. Amazing goulash that rivals what I’ve had in Europe. Awesome Croatian beer that could be the best pilsner I’ve ever had. All wrapped up in an affordable price with amazing service. So good dont pass this place up.

It took 10 minutes for an employee to appear to seat the people waiting, even though all the tables were empty. I was served frozen food and then had to wait 10 more minutes after finishing my meal to get the check. I spent more time waiting in an empty restaurant than eating.
