The service was okay, but a bit slow. It was a convenient place to eat after taking the Capt Anderson Seafari (which was great). Fresh, real Mexican food — it was NOT! I’ve eaten Mexican food my whole life and was very, very disappointed in this place.

They may have the best salsa I’ve ever had. Interesting menu. It’s much more than Mexican food. I think it might be healthier and cooked with less grease than rivals. The only complaints i have for this restaurant are no different than any of the other locally owned restaurants that I’ve been to. I would like to see a lunch menu in the $7.00 too $8.00 dollar range (at least in the off season).

Was considering skipping due to bad reviews. By my experience it would seem that management had addressed any issues. The foods was good. It was karaoke night and a lot of fun. Ben our server took excellent care of us. I would definitely return.

Rolled in on a Friday night and found they had FREE Margaritas from 9-10 with a Latin Night with plenty of Salsa Dancing. Had crab and shrimp nachos which are wonderful. Stayed till 1 a.m. and had a great time! The view was awesome definitely will do it again!

Empty parking lot was the first sign to keep driving, but we stayed. Sign upon entry said Please Wait to be Seated…..we did, and did, and did until our waitress came up and said “Oh, they should have changed the sign to Seat yourself”. No worries, decided on outside dining which we passed the huge, inside dining with hardly no customers, again, a sign. Seated outside to great views of harbor and the boats. Waitress was very friendly, but new, so excuseable, we thought. Ordered Guac Fresco, which was to be prepared at our tableside, was not and were not given the option to have it done that way. Chips not even warm, Guac Fresco needed MAJOR salt, salsa had good taste but definitely watered down. We were extremely hungry and ate all the Guac Fresco plus a $7 Margarita, which was above average in taste, but small for the $$. Decided to get out of our Mexican “box” and ordered Cantina Shrimp………..WRONG CHOICE…………..Again, we were starving, so rather than make a scene and I never send my food back, we should have. Asked for another margarita to try and numb our experience but after the table behind us had their Guac Fresco made for them with all the options and the bar being less than 10 feet away outside, we never received our second margarita. Highly disappointed that someone actually paid that much money for this real estate and it be so disappointing. I have been a business owner for years and this place will not be open long.

Went for lunch today 15 minutes after sitting down was finally asked if we wanted a drink k. 15 minutes later no drinks. Finally the manager asks if we are being helped and goes to get our drinks. 15 more minutes our order was taken. No chips and salsa no silverware. Now 45 minutes later

Enjoyed the dish they recommended with chicken and shrimp served with rice and softshell taco shell. Good strawberry margarita. Great service and surprisingly decent voices for karaoke night (Sun and I believe Tues)

Wait for food was over 30 min , (it was at 5:30 pm ,and had not got busy till 6:15 after our order had been placed ) Quesso Dip so hot was liquified and not able to remain on chips. Drinks were satifactory, fish entre of Grouper Imperia was over cooked and not edible. They did however deduct the price off check and were apologetic about meal. We probably will not revisit.

I had already heard the food wasn’t very good but we moved here a few years ago & have been desperately looking for a good mexican place.We decide to give them a chance. We were told bar was 1st come 1st serve by hostess. We found a table (EMPTY) but dirty.Long story short there was a misunderstanding. Asked to speak to manager found out he was the 1 being so RUDE to us. Instead of offering us a solution he threw his hands up in the air toward us and stormed off saying “HE DOESN’T HAVE TIME TO DEAL WITH THIS”!! This happened on 8/10/12 a Saturday night on our anniversary. So with other people saying how BAD the food is & the TERRIBLE service we recieved by the manager, U WILL NEVER SEE THESE 2 LOCALS AGAIN!
