Do not eat here! The calamari was horrible, we fed it to the fish who enjoyed it much more than we did. The entrees were equally as bad; plain and tasteless. While the deck area is pleasant, do not go inside. The area by the bathrooms smelled like vomit, which coincidentally is right next to the kitchen – yummy, right? The building is dirty and there were buckets on the floor catching the rain water. Owners, you have a wonderful location, why are you destroying your business by serving crappy food?

Extremely disappointed. I was under the impression this is a nice Steak and Seafood restaurant. Wrong! I should have taken the hint that we were the only ones in there on a Saturday night. The place was nice inside, but very bare and unwelcoming, like it wasn’t finished. It was only around 6pm and they had the lights extremely dim and music blasting like we were in a club- and like club techno too! It was awkward. Three people ordered steak- there is only one on the menu. All ordered different temps- all got ” black and blue”, messed up all the vegetable sides and my potatoes were cold. The steaks were 75% fat and it was very expensive. We ended up bring it home for the dogs and ordering more bread bc we were all still hungry after eating. The squash was so overcooked, it was just soggy in a bowl of water- gross. Save your time and money.

First off I’ve been going to Mariners for 20 years but hadnt gone in the last 3-4 years. Loved what they did with the new decking and patio. Started off with warm beers. Ok. That happens. ordered the calamari and bacon scallops something or other. The calamari had so much salt on them we asked to get a different batch made with no salt. Then the next order came out was just as bad as the first if not worse. The $16 scallops were just as salty. So disappointed we never ordered dinner. Left and went some where else. Hopefully things will change because this restaurant used to be my favorite and now I will never go again.

The place itself is outdated but the deck looking out on the water and seeing the bridges is wonderful We ordered a seafood dish that included snow crab legs. When Arthur cracked it open the smell of ammonia was present. While waiting for the waitress to come back the table next to us had the same problem. The waitress brought back a new cluster for us and the same rancid ammonia smell was present. I told the waitress that they should take the crab legs off the menu because people were going to get sick. After paying our bill we went back on the deck and saw that they were still serving crab legs. So if you were at the Mariner last night and ate the crab legs your probably home with regret this morning. As far a the staff are concerned they could care less about making your experience happy. Bartenders have no personality at all and the wait staff are stretched to thin to be able to do their jobs.

I came for birthday.had the calm chowder and stuffed shrimp. Both were very good. Place is nice and clean. Service was average. Drinks are slightly under sized but the food is good. If you want to eat outside this is a good place.

Overpriced lousy food, salad wilty and pathetic. Atmosphere lacks finesse, very crude. Staff pleasant but not on the ball, have to ask for what they should offer. Stumbled upon while in area, seemed like nice place, based on prices seemed hopeful but should have stuck to original plans to go to diner.
