Let me start off with the service is good, kind people. ..but the food,. The pictures i saw on google looked good, and my food looked just like the pictures, but for it looking pretty good, the taste was so off, it gets almost sickening, the beans were somehow crusted, and the rice was served in a cardboard plate with the hot beans.

First time experience at Mario’s. The server was polite and fast. The owner was distant and acted irritated by our presence, she had a strange vibe. However, the food was another story—no descriptions of their menu items. I ordered two crunchy tacos. They came out with beans smeared on the outside and a soft taco shell around them. The rice and beans were flavorless and dry. I ate one of my two tacos, and my husband had one of his three before we could no longer force them down, left everything behind—a hard forty-dollar lesson in listening to your gut. I should have known when all the diners were white, as well as the owners.

Let me start off by saying that the staff is very good and the service is also good. Unfortunately the food is not anywhere near the quality that it used to be. All of the food is served in aluminum foil trays and you only receive cheap plastic silverware to eat with. Everyone else at our table agreed with me that we would have received better food, a larger serving of food and all at a much cheaper price by just going to Taco Bell. I personally ordered a large burrito that only contained at most a 1/4 of a cup of ground beef and the rest was just wrapping all for $10 not including drink, tax or tip for just my small meal. If you are hungry for Mexican food there is a long list of places that I would recommend before here including Taco Bell and that’s sad that Taco Bell is higher on the list then this restaurant. This was my favorite restaurant before but sadly will not be returning here again.

So if you are wondering how much it is for 2 grownups and 2 kids to eat there the answer is about $70. Ridiculously priced, and the owner is cold, unwelcomeing, and unfortunately always there. Also, they don’t have plates or silverware anymore. Just plastic untencles, and tin serving dishes. This place use to be well priced, and well staffed. Shame to see whats happened to it.

Let me start with the food is good and hot. That being said they serve everything in to go style containers even for inside dining. It is difficult to eat hot food with plastic silverware that melts in your food. When we inquired as to why there were no longer regular plates and silverware the owner rudely informed us that was the direction she chose to take the restaurant due to cost of staffing. So now everything is served in to go containers which are not cost effective or environmentally friendly. Due to the rudeness of the owner we definitely will not recommend dining in or even takeout. For the prices being charged we should have real silverware and actual dishes.

The restaurant has went down hill. Food is served in aluminum takeout trays and all the utensils are cheap plastic and you can hardly use them to cut and eat with. Almost got the impression that they would rather you get your food and leave then dine in. The parking lot is a nightmare if you drive a full size pickup or SUV.

First of all the food was good and hot but they serve you food in aluminum foil plate and plastic forks, foam cups. I asked about it and then they said to save the turtles and if saving the turtles you would not be serving plastic things and actually that’s hurting the turtles never going there again.

Small restaurant, away from the buzz of town but this little place is always busy! Food is flavorful, portioned well with fair prices.

The food is great and the service is awesome. The building has been updated with new tables and booths plus paint. It’s a local staple.
