We ordered a large Pepperoni & half sausage pizza. It was ok. No real flavor. We also ordered the hot Buffalo wings which were a little sweet. Again, nothing great. We also ordered the meatballs appetizer and the meatballs didn’t taste fresh. $51 and some change later plus tip, we wish we had went elsewhere. Delivery was good.

No dine in at this location. We had two with celiac disease, they said could not make anything even though listed. They sent us to another location so we went twenty more min to go to their original location and they only had cauliflower crust though it was advertised that they had that and gluten free. Please don’t advertise if you can’t offer the service.

Very disappointed in Mario’s. This has been our pizza spot for our yearly trips to Galveston. I will never buy from them again. They typically have a longer wait which is usually fine because over the years its been pretty good. We ordered at 7:18, did not receive our food until 9:50 on a Tuesday. That is ridiculous. It was not even close to warm and the pizza quality completely unacceptable. Ended up feeding my kids a peanut butter sandwich and threw half of it away.

Take out only, but not many options on this side of the island. Order had several things incorrect, wings came bbq and were supposed to be mild. 1 sandwich had no mayo on it, caprese didn’t have extra cheese. What was correct, was good, however. Service wasn’t great. Asked for a topping they had, young girl said they didn’t have it, but then did for only pizza and couldn’t ring it up. Seems the back of the house is decent, front of the house needs some work/training.

I don’t remember her name , I think it started with H she was great! If only everyone was professional like her it would be much nicer eating out. I own a salon, I know how important good service . Keep it up and you will go far. I will definitely go and eat there again.

After waiting over 9 minutes for someone to answer my phone call, I drove to Mario’s (while still waiting on the phone!) to place a carry out order for 1 pizza.. I was informed by the cashier they couldn’t take any more orders for pizza because it was getting too late and someone “called in” and they were just too busy. This is spring break, and they weren’t taking any more orders for pizza? Does that make sense not having enough staff to answer the phone or make a pizza to go….when you are in the carry-out pizza business? I think not. Weird way to run a pizza restaurant. You may make the “best pizza” as your sign says, but I will never taste it. I read many reviews on poor service and phone answering speed needing improvement. Now I understand and believe the complaints. Next time I will just head to Little Caesar’s. At least they answer their phones, and take carry-out pizza orders….even when they are busy!
