We went in there for Father’s Day. The place was very hot inside and didn’t seem like they had air conditioning. The food was great but the girl serving was not very friendly and didn’t checked on us at all. We were a table of 7 and every time we needed something and called her she seemed bothered. We were the only ones there so it’s not like she was busy.

The flavor was pretty good, the service was pretty good as well, but it’s definitely overpriced, for a charola loca or parrillada (or whatever they call it )for 3 people $137, the bill for a total of 3 adults and 2 kids it was more than $200, thats more than what we pay even at a high level cuisine restaurant. the ceviche they served at the beginning with the chips tasted a little old, the experience was pretty good but definitely not worth that much.

Delicious seafood. Very tasty. Served Mexican style. Stylish little corner restaurant. Makes you feel like you’re on a beach somewhere instead of in Quincy. About 35$ & up for 2 people, definitely worth it. You get what you pay for. Our new little seafood spot!

I travel for my job and have for 27 years. I have been very lucky to have eaten a lot of very good food on my company expense report. I love sea food and have had some of the best fresh seafood in Maine etc.

We had dinner of octopus, shrimp, oysters. It was delicious. I’ve always had octopus calimari style. This was not fried but in a red sauce. Never had anything like it. not chewy but more like properly cooked chicken. The shrimp an oysters were just as delicious. My wife is picky about her margaritas and loved hers. The chef came to the table with a bottle of Tequila, poured me a shot and added another to my wife’s drink. Downside, were driving back from Nashville to Minneapolis and happened onto it so can’t frequent the place. Upside, we are driving back in October and will detour from our route to grab another meal.

Mariscos El Charro is a unique restaurant to the region which serves some of the most impressive looking seafood, Mexican or otherwise that I’ve seen in quite awhile. Portions are enormous so bring friends and family with you. I look forward to returning in the future. Prices may seem high, but for the quality & quantity you’re being served, it’s a good value.

Absolutely a Quincy gem. I have eaten there twice and will make it a regular stop. Fantastic fresh seafood right here in Quincy. You would have to travel to large coastal cities to get this quality and variety of seafood.

Even though I’m allergic to seafood this establishment offers tasty steak and chicken tacos or burritos. The prices are with reason according to the dish. The dining area is clean and environment full of authentic music.
