I went to Mariscos El Wicho on a weekday straight from work. I have to say, I’m a huge fan of Wichos everything was delicious! I had a coktel believe me it was loaded with shrimp and the taste was delicious! I had the lemonade it was so refreshing and yummy. I recommend you stop by and pick up something delicious. This spot is a great example of not judging a book by it’s cover. I stopped by for lunch today not really knowing what to expect from a “fast food” ceviche spot. Walking in looks like your average Mexican fast food joint. It was around 2pm so they weren’t real busy. I ordered shrimp ceviche. The staff were friendly and talkative. It only took a few minutes to receive my order. I chatted with the server the whole time while the other server made my order fresh. My order was to go so I took it and left.

I am the pickiest maricso’s eater. I have high expectations. In the many years the last time I had the best mariscos was in Ensenada 2015. This place is so delicious. I ordered the Tosti Ceviche and La Tore and holy schnikes it was so good. I didn’t have to add lime, no salsa, nothing. The aguas frescas were divine. They weren’t too sugary or too bland. The perfect taste with the little pieces of fruit and the rim covered in tajin. This is def out new spot. A bit pricey but def worth it!

I moved out here from LA about a month ago. After trying many different places, this has got to be the best ceviche I’ve had in the whole Phoenix area. I ordered 1 shrimp and 1 fish ceviche tostadas, and had to order more to go as I live in Peoria . I came to this side of town for an interview, but wouldn’t mind making the drive just for El Wicho!
