Had a horrible experience at this place just yesterday 7/27/23. We rented the hall the restaurant provides for our mothers after funeral services. It was suppose to be ready by 1pm when we got there a little after 1pm they were barley setting up. Of course they had excuse after excuse to why it wasn’t ready. Then some of the table cloths that were used were either dirty or had holes on them. I complained to one of the workers told her about the table cloths handed it to her and then this old lady who works there came up to me giving excuses about why they were late on having the hall ready. Then she has the audacity to tell me that the table cloths complained about we’re not dirty. Please I saw it with my own eyes and she was like come with me and I’ll prove to you that it wasn’t dirty. I told her I saw what I saw and told her to walk away and I didn’t want to hear her. Food was horrible they salads they served were so nasty and over cooked they also forgot one of the main dishes. They eventually brought it out about 45 min after most people had already been served. They didn’t offer any apologies no responsibility just excuses. Men’s restroom was dirty with hair like if someone had shaved in there. We had to tell them like 5 times to put up the air conditioner cuz it was so hot in there. The outside leading to the hall smelled like if there was a dead animal somewhere disgusting. Oh they offered my sister two free tequila shots for the inconvenience REALLY!!!!! Two shots! For the money we paid this was ridiculous they should’ve gave us a credit on the amount we were charged for this place. Never in my life will I be going to this restaurant or recomending it to anyone. Like I said horrible experience and excuse after excuse you can tell it’s all about the money for them because they didn’t give two sh@ts about our concerns. To the management and owners of this place you guys should be ashamed of your sorry excuses for your mistakes. Very very unprofessional

Food was cold, tasteless, the service was awful, on flyer announced live music and they were playing you tube with commercials. We were a party of 5 we received 2 set of utensils 2 forks and 2 napkins. The rice and beans were cold and tasteless. Waitress never brought tortillas, either other stuff like lemons, hot sauces etc.. Came all the way from Pasadena to support the business and Im disappointed. Also when you are ordering ask to explain to you with details, I had told by the waitress that a kids combo came all together and they charged me for everything separated. So for a combo for a kid paid $30 1 and food was terribly un edible, my girl took 1 bite only. The only good thing there was the courtesy patron shot they gave to cel rate Father’s Day and the camarones al mojo de ajo by themselves 🙁 not a nice Father’s day to my hubby.

Our waitress was fantastic at her job with a big 🙂 and tended to our needs they have videos playing with Mexican music their lunch buffet was very tasty and kept full the only thing is the rice was little dry and they said they’re going to remedy that they have a banquet room in the back that holds somewhere around 250 people

Great service. Dahlia was so friendly and attentive. The food was excellent couldn’t stop eating even though I was full! Good size servings. We had steak fries and a carne asada plate. I also attended a birthday party; they had a buffet with steak picado. We will be returning!

Went in and no one was there, so I called to see if open and the person on the phone said yes just wait there someone will help, after a min of waiting a old man said I can’t be in the building and to wait outside and when a waitress did come he told her I wasn’t to be served. And she just chuckled and went back to the kitchen. Horrible attitude and mood.

First time but not the last, the food is really good. It not like the others Mexican restaurants, it taste almost like my mom’s food back in Mexico. The service is on point, very friendly and kind. Besides how busy they are, they give you the attention that you need. Try the lunch buffet, for $12 you get food until you’re satisfied. Recommend if you live around el monte.
