My best advice…DO NOT GO within an hour of closing!! They have great food, maybe, but the service is horrendous if you are not within their preferred serving time of day. Out of 5 visits in the last year, I have had issues with the staff 3 times!! I am done with this place, Paw-Paw’s has better seafood, sides and service anyway!!

The all-you-can-eat fried catfish did NOT disappoint. The other thing you need to know is that this place has great chips and salsa. Like 10/10 amazing. Will definitely come here in the future. As a side note, parking is limited, but you can also park near Twin Liquors.

This place has definitely been on the rise after a huge remodeling and restaffing. Staff are accurate and on point with service. Food is delicious while prices are accommodating. Pleasantly located right off the highway with ample amount of parking. This little hole in the wall is definitely a must see! Seafood, Latino food, and good old-fashioned chicken nuggets for the kids. You can’t go wrong.

They have the best fried catfish in Bastrop, better prices and more food than the other catfish place where we used to eat and their basket comes with fried okra. They have a good breakfast too, we have yet to try their Mexican food because we always go for the catfish. The service is always outstanding. This has become one of our favorites!
