If you’re ANYWHERE near Modesto, take the time to stop in at El Capitan. The service is great; the owner was present and taking care of all the patrons needs. They have a large selection of food. We had nachos with beef, delicious. Try the fruit and celery drink, refreshing! Best find this year, can’t wait to return.

We ordered delivery. So that’s why I didn’t rate the service and atmosphere. We ordered 2 dozen oysters on the half shell and shrimp scampi. The oysters were HUGE!!! They were as big as oyster grillers!!! Soo yummy!!!! We will definitely order them again. Bag of crab is great, but they won’t deliver oysters on the half shell… The shrimp scampi were WAY over cooked and chewy. My boyfriend couldn’t chew them and ended up tossing them…..

I ordered them on Uber Eats and I don’t think I’ve ever received such an incompetent order. The $4 foundation drink, was flat, syrupy, and oddly had no ice. They seemed to pay zero attention to my special instructions as the vegetarian burrito I ordered was filled with steak. My side of rice was yummy, but was a tiny serving for $5. I will not be a repeat customer.

Worst service I have ever received in my life. The staff is unprofessional, untrained and they have a little kid as a manager which is no help at all… Made my son wait over 30 minutes for his food and they messed up ether way. Over priced food! NEVER again will we be going to this place. I give it a 0 stars but it won’t let me do that.
