We had a late breakfast on a Tuesday (2/8/22). As others mentioned it’s walk in, order, take a seat and wait for your meal.

My wife and I came here for breakfast since it was just down the street from our hotel. My wife had looked at the menu prior to arriving. When we got there, they gave us menu’s which had been photocopied and were hard to read. When the waiter asked if we would like some coffee (regular hot), she told him that she wanted an iced coffee. He answered by telling her that they didn’t make anything like that. That we would need to go the Starbucks across the street for that. She had seen iced coffee options on the menu online, so she was confused and told him regular (hot) coffee would be fine. After bringing the coffee he asked if we were ready to order. We both ordered the “Classic Waffle” (what was on the menu we were given). The menu we saw online called it a “Texas Pecan Waffle” (pecan stuffed waffle). I asked him if the “Classic Waffle” came with pecans. He looked confused at first and then said, “We could add some to it” (which they did). When the waffles arrived, they looked exactly like the Texas Pecan Waffle (Texas shaped) that we saw in the pictures, so we were confused. During our meal, we also experienced some “confusion” between our waiter and two other waitresses. They were almost arguing outloud close enough to our table for us to hear as to who was getting the next table. I’m guessing the restaurant is under new management based on the different menu and the confusion between the staff on certain things that I noticed. Anyway, breakfast and service was just okay. Nothing special. If you’re looking for a delicious breakfast around the area, I highly recommend visiting La Panaderia just down the road. The food and service there was top notch.

We walked in off the street for breakfast. The meals were larger than we assumed but we’re well done.

Do not recommend. Way overpriced. The staff is friendly and great, the food is not great… at all. I’ve never had so much grease come out of a breakfast burrito in my life. They were also offering a breakfast buffet for $20/person. It didn’t look good so I ordered from the menu, which was just as bad. This place has so much potential, but the execution is lackluster. I tried to order a cappuccino from their menu, but was told they only have coffee. Juice comes in a small plastic bottle from the self-service fridge, yet they charge you like they just handpicked the oranges and fresh squeezed them for your dining pleasure. There’s a reason the restaurant is empty on a Saturday morning in an area full of hungry tourists.

Every meal was splendid! I tried four meals (off my kids plates). I also came here a few years ago and it was good as well. High quality, clean, good ambiance, competent server.

Excellent food! Menu + buffet offered every day, buffet only on Sunday. We made a reservation through “Open Table” and the host even had a placard with our name on a great table by the window. Easy walk from the Riverwalk.

After standing around we grabbed our own menus and sat ourselves. Eventually someone walked past us and said someone would be by. Watched a couple employees look over at us the whole time and no one bothered. Very poor service and employees with very low expectations. Dont recommend as a walk in from the street and if youre staying at the hotel they have a seperate bar save yourself the hassle.

I work downtown in San Antonio, and walking to get lunch at this sweet little bistro is a highlight of my week. The service is wonderful (ask for Rey), and Chef Rudy creates fantastic menus with delectable items. I was there for lunch today, and ordered off of their Restaurant Week menu. I had some French Onion soup, the Bexar Market Salad, and their twist on Chicken Pot Pie. All delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough! The atmosphere is super cool, too.
