Now called The Junction. Majority of the reviews are correct about the service. The service is very slow so do not come if in a rush to catch you flight or to grab food quickly before heading out. A table of three were already in the restaurant eating their meals when we showed up so no one else was there waiting on food. The disappointing part was that my husband and I got to the restaurant somewhere around five to ten minutes before two more tables showed up. A party of six sat down next to us and got their food close to ten minutes before we got ours. Another table of two got their food before us as well after showing up ten minutes after we placed our order. Can’t help but notice those things and then notice my plate of food was cold when I was served. My husband’s breakfast burrito was good but my scrambled eggs and bacon were cold. As someone who is in the service industry, there were a few things that could have been done differently by the staff to make the customer not feel like they were forgotten. The staff was not mean but the service needs major improvement considering the reviews keep mentioning the slow service. We did read the reviews and went there knowing we may wait a while for food but it was being served after others and the cold food that prompted me to write a negative review.

I ordered the Jalapeño burger cooked to medium. I arrived perfectly cooked and it was delicious. Fries were hot and crispy. Overall a great meal.

I stopped in here a couple times while I was staying at the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel. This is the restaurant in the lobby of the hotel. They have a pretty solid selection of food and drinks. I had a Chicken Caesar Salad. It was a pretty good size salad for a meal. Nothing too fancy about it, but it tasted good and the price was great. We also had breakfast before we left here and that was very good as well. I had a ham & cheese omelette with breakfast potatoes and toast. Also very good and reasonably priced, though we had breakfast vouchers that I believe you can get when you check in. The bar had a very good selection as well. There hours were tough during the weekdays, since they closed at 5pm, but overall this was a good spot to grab a quick breakfast or lunch and a drink.

Extremely convenient location to the DoubleTree by Hilton at Newark Penn Station. I ordered the turkey burger with avocado and when it came out it was nice and juicy. The waiter tried to be attentive but the wait for our food was over 35 minutes and the restaurant only had three other tables at the time. Since we were there before 5pm, we thought maybe there was kitchen staff change.
