Our new favorite dining spot. Since the Montclair Nordstrom closed (our old regular lunch dining spot) we have now chosen the Brea Mall location. The staff are all friendly and very attentive. It’s nice to see Carina again, she was at the Montclair location before. We also met Christian, server, who is VERY pleasant and hospitable. The rest of everyone are GREAT also. I wish I caught all their names.

I am writing this review on behalf of my mom. She is in her sixties, Asian, have some difficulty speaking English. She came with two friends who are like her, and they wanted to sit by the window. They were told they cannot and were given some strange reason about how the restaurant was understaffed? Even though there were people sitting by the window… and more people were seated there as time went on? What does that even mean?

It’s a great place to relax from all the shopping. Their food is pretty decent. The service could be slow during the busy hours, but I’ve never really had major problem. Their OJ is really good which is freshly squeezed. Their kid’s menu is good as well. I come here often enough whenever I shop!

Nordstrom’s is my favorite place to shop and eat because the service is unbeatable. I don’t typically come to Brea often but i have come this direction a few times these past few weeks. My grandma loves the Clam Chowder. The last time I visited didn’t sit well with me. I dined in and ended up coming back after shopping to get some soup Togo. My server Sabrina while dining in was amazing. Only dine in complaint is that a guy was vacuuming while we were eating. The entire restaurant and close to all the tables. The rest of the staff not so much. Very much not the Nordstrom culture or vibe. As I was doing a Togo order the staff behind the counter was extra on their socializing about their personal lives. Which made it hard to place my order with the cashier. Another employee wearing two pigtail braids was eating a slice of cake behind the register as another employee was ringing people up. Yes I got to see her take a few bites, while i was waiting for my order. The order was ready and waiting on a counter without letting me know. I got up and asked a guy hey is this mine and went to show him my receipt and he was like you can check. I grabbed my order and left. To get home and my desert was a missing that i paid for. I called the store and got my money back from the “manager” of the cafe. I don’t remember her name because she wasn’t pleasant like the rest of the team. I explained to her about the employee eating and all she said was I’ll speak with her. No apology or Nordstrom feel of that this will be taken care of. I will return to this location because of coarse Nordstrom has amazing food. Especially their soups. I just won’t have any expectations that’s for sure.

Very disappointed Menu change not great, poor variety options, except deserts as always. Had the chicken panini, soggy onion, greasy with little flavor except chili pesto to stronge. Didn’t even finish. My sister chicken pesto sas lad not much better dry chicken aside plain salad. Sad use to be so nice.
