Very good food for great prices. The portions are also incredible: I don’t think I’ve ever eaten Mark’s and still been hungry afterwards. I usually get delivery, and the food arrives quickly. The times that I have eaten in, the atmosphere is nothing to write home about. They have TVs, a cooler that has Kutztown brand sodas, among other things, and a big menu on the wall. But the employees are incredibly friendly and I hear them having a good time every time I’ve walked in. If you’re very hungry, I highly recommend one of their steak sandwiches. They pack those things full! And do be warned: their large drinks are ginormous. Their personal pizzas are good as well.

Wife and I got hungry for an Italian hoagie so I called Mark’s in Kutztown. The person that answered spoke clearly and was quite pleasant. That’s important to me since I’m close to 80 and don’t always hear so good. I ordered the sandwich with no problems. When I got there, a worker was cleaning the door and opened for me. I picked up the sandwich the cashier was also very nice. It’s good that to know there are still some nice folks around. And, by the way, the hoagie was great. Thank you Mark’s Sandwich Shop

We order the same thing almost every week. Always get curly fries with our combos and our bags are less than half full this time. I called to ask why that is and apparently it is “always like that”, which is confusing considering it has never once been half full when we have ordered before. Incredibly disappointed considering it’s a $25 order.

We stopped in here on our way to crystal cave and picked up food to eat at the picnic tables there. Both kids ordered a small chicken Caesar salad and the woman even asked if they wanted Caesar dressing and I told her yes. So you can imagine our surprise and disappointment when we opened the salads at the picnic table and they were completely dry. No dressing on the salads, no dressing in the bag. Both kids said the chicken on the salad was so dry, they couldn’t even eat the salads. We ended up throwing them away and I had to buy the kids junk food to eat. What a waste of money.

Wow. SENSATIONAL CHEESESTEAKS. Classic sandwich shop with the best cheesesteak that I have had in some time. No grease, fresh roll, steak, mushrooms and onions. Mmmmm. Stuffed with meat so full that it was falling out into the classic sandwich basket. STOP HERE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Your life depends on it!!!

We just drove from Tennessee and my wife said she could eat a hoagie…we haven’t had a good hoagie or steak sandwich since we moved to Tennessee a year ago! Boy did this hit the spot! We shared an italian and steak sandwich and both were really good! Rolls were very fresh and service was quick and friendly! This is one of things we miss so much and Mark’s delivered! Definitely recommend.
