On September 5, 1964, Marlboro finally had it’s own Pizza restaurant, The Marlboro House of Pizza was opened. The owners were Stavros and Vasiliki Economou who had come to the U.S. 8 years before from Epiros, Greece.Vasiliki’s mother Anggiliki, as well as her sister Millie and her brother Chris, helped the family open the new restaurant. Prior to becoming The Marlboro House of Pizza, the location had been occupied by a drug store, a laundry mat, and a diner.
In the beginning, The Marlboro House of Pizza sold 700 to 800 pizzas a day, as well as selling their, soon to become famous, “home-made meatball subs”! The Marlboro House of Pizza quickly became a great success. Following this the Economou’s opened 10 more pizza restaurants in the Mass

Extremely fresh and excellent service! I don’t live in Marlborough, but made a special trip just to grab the Caribbean Sweet & Spicy Salad. I tried it last week and has been the best salad I have ever had this far. My daughter got a 4 piece chicken tender basket that came with fries and a salad. She said “the chicken is really good and the French fries are just amazing and really fresh”. (She’s 8). We were waited on by Ramez who was extremely friendly and had excellent customer service. I highly recommend coming to MHOP!

I’ve been getting delicious meals from Marlboro House of Pizza for years! Their friendly team makes some of my favorite go-to eats in the area – the buffalo chicken wraps are amazing, as are the gyros. Their salads are generous and full of quality fresh produce – everything I’ve ever gotten from there I’ve loved. Recently, I’ve tried out the shrimp scampi pizza and found it to be another loved addition, I can’t recommend that enough to lovers of melty, garlic-y goodness.

Wow! We ordered the meat lovers pizza and a plain pizza and both were absolutely delicious!! Like…pizza is pizza but last night we were delivered two absolutely perfectly made pizzas! I cannot rave enough! The sauce was perfect seasoned and the crust was fresh and crispy. Bravo! Bravo!

Terrible experience and customer service. Very rude no one was in there and had to wait a long time to pick up my order that was sitting there done. On top of that they messed up my whole order my sweet potato fry I got potato fries with bacon ? Idk how you can confuse that. And I ordered a steak and cheese sub with olives peppers mushrooms onions cheese and lettuce, and the guy gave me steak and cheese with Just olives. He doesn’t stop running his mouth no wonder he can’t hear the order correctly. Never order from here. Waste of 25$ and time. They don’t understand proper English. Terrible business.
