Or expectations were not met. Cave on a Friday night, we were seated quickly, but it took longer then normal to have a waiter come by… Our water was refilled twice before we had a waiter come by. Or meals babe fast and we’re delicious… Our cocktails were unusual, and delicious as well. Where we were let down was the desert. My wife had the profiterole and it came out very over cooked on top, and almost raw on the bottom… Photo attached. Not sure how the kitchen let it out that way. We were comped for it, but shocked that the kitchen wells serve an obviously burnt item. We are coming back for brunch, hopefully for a better experience.

Apparently still finding their footing. Food was fine, nothing to write home about but solid. Cocktails were unusual and OK. Service was fine. Avoid dessert at all costs. Second visit popped into bar for a few drinks and dessert… thought I’d give them another sweet chance at redemption. Yeah, just don’t order dessert in general here. Bartender seemed a little out of his depth, but was hospitable and charming!

Had really loved previous occupants of this space, especially Gaslight. We stopped in recently on a busy Friday and snagged a couple seats at the bar, just intending to get some french inspired cocktails, and ended up ordering a dozen perfect oysters too. Vibe is similar to the previous places, maybe a little more stiff, not as playful. But also not as loud, you can actually carry conversations here like an adult. Impressive cocktails and tight, focused food menu. Stunning outdoor patio.

We waited 25 mins before we were even served. The restaurant wasn’t busy and there was no apology or acknowledgment of how long we had waited. By the time the starter arrived our bottle of wine still hadn’t been served. It wasn’t until our starter was almost finished that the waiter finally brought the bottle. He didn’t offer for us to taste the wine. The mains were tasty but my steak came with the source poured all over it which, to say the least is unusual. Luckily, the source was nice. The side of fries that my wife ordered we’re loop warm. We won’t be attending again. I believe the restaurant is relatively new and our experience testified to that. The manager past us serval times throughout the night and never seemed to notice how long we had waited. Nor did anyone ask how the meal was going during or when paying the bill.

Attractive restaurant but that’s where it begins and ends. Wait person was just okay. Seemed uninterested and probably wished he was home on his couch streaming a mediocre show. Food was disappointing but priced as though it was going to be an exceptional dining experience. Oh, and stingy wine pours. Will not go back.
