I hate that google maps deleted the first attempt at reviewing this place. Simply. Amazing. Almost cried at the third bite because I didn’t think the first two were really that good. I ordered the chilaquiles with Christmas sauce and chorizo. After deliberating for 3 hours on if I’ll wait for this to open or just get road food, this is the best choice I could’ve made.

Best Mexican restaurant in Flagstaff! We came to this restaurant very early in the morning before they opened and can smell the delicious aroma of food from the kitchen and we decided to come back another day. This place did not disappoint! We came after 8 AM on a Saturday. There was a wait but it was all worth it. We ordered the special Red Tamale with hollandaise sauce. The dish came with a sunny side up egg, shredded beef, avocado, refried beans and hash brown. It tasted so good! This place was packed and they have several choices of food on the menu. I will come back to this place and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant!

Delicious! We came here for breakfast and it was all so good! The Bloody Mary was good, spicy like I like it. I had the chorizo chilaquilies with the red and green sauce on the side so I could add as much as I wanted. Someone has the banana split French toast and they said it was good. Also the Eggs Benedict was really good. The pancakes with blueberries and bananas was delicious. Everything was great! I would definitely return!

I’ve never been to a Mexican restaurant that didn’t offer chips and salsa as a starter. We ordered cheesy spinach dip, but they were shy on the chips. An up charge for more chips to finish up the dip. Disappointed. Ceviche looked beautiful but the shrimp were hard and rubbery. The empanada was so pretty that we were hopeful, but it was doughy and heavy. The server was not attentive and didn’t come around to ask for more drinks etc. Overall, disappointing. .

My wife and I stopped in for breakfast on our way through Flagstaff. Food did take a while, but it was the middle of the breakfast rush so that’s probably expected.

We stopped in for some margaritas and a fried ice cream sundae. The margaritas were okay. We got the chili-mango and although we both liked the chili, they were way too sweet and didn’t really seem like they had alcohol in them. I like to taste the tequila in my marg, and these just tasted like mango and chili. The fried ice cream sundae was also okay, but it seemed like they were much more concerned about the toppings and presentation than the core of the dish. It was overwhelmingly sweet and only had two tiny balls of ice cream buried under tons of whipped cream, strawberry, and chocolate sauce. I’m used to a fried ice cream where the ice cream is the star of the show, not the third fiddle.
