Step back in time to an old fashioned cafe with modern amenities. I got a chicken Cesar wrap with garlic parmesan fries. The fries were amazing, but the chicken was pretty tough and stringy and not so crispy. It was good but not great. The staff was excellent. They also have fresh scooped ice cream.

Comfort foods, home style and cooked with care. While there’s not much that is revolutionary in the menu (except maybe the maple butter) the food they offer is of good quality. 5 stars over all because these smaller mom and pop places are the kind that make up what’s best in America and we should support them. Four stars in the smaller categories because it’s a little longer to wait—totally worth it and the wait staff is super kind—and the shabby chic decor is sweet. We ordered the chicken and waffles, with maple bacon (crisp!) and Martha’s platter. Everything was cooked well and tasty. I could imagine my family cooking this meal, and the price is very reasonable.

Definitely recommend this old school style cafe. The decor was so relaxing and fit the atmosphere so well. It was pretty empty when we went, but I imagine that it fills up at breakfast and dinner. The garlic Parmesan fries were so good, and both of the wraps we had were excellent. We will definitely be back.

Tried this place out while searching for breakfast with my daughter. The place was empty but it was a weekday in Arbutus, a practically old fashioned quaint town. The owner or host was very welcoming and the server she was nice too I wish I had their names. The food was great and presentable. I was kinda nervous but the food was good!!! The only thing I would say was “kinda off” IMO was the atmosphere/setting as I frequent brunch spots that are well known in different cities..this place is either new or its the location (good ole Arbutus) but I would recommend ! I want to try the ice cream they have next time

Glad I’m finally aware of this best kept secret in Arbutus, MD! Just ordered brunch. Had Avocado Toast, boring, you say? Nope! It had bacon, grilled red onions, fresh avocado and a fried egg! Ordered a side of Garlic Parmesan fries, delish!! Also got the French Toast with homemade Cinnamon Apples! Can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!

Decided to visit this afternoon, left extremely happy and satisfied! Not only was the food amazing, but the service was great as well. Hayley was an amazing server and the gentleman that was there was also super friendly and attentive! The food was worth every penny, one of the best meals I’ve had out in a long time! So happy to have Martha’s right in my backyard!
