What a great place for lunch! Off the beaten path. Very quaint and warm feeling. The staff friendly and makes you welcomed. Food was excellent, potato salad fresh and homemade! Every thing was on point. Don’t let this little building fool you. Lots of great things behind the doors!

The fried fish plate was wonderful. Great tartar sauce, delicious potato salad. Neither of us liked the coleslaw. Tried to call ahead for take out, but phone was never answered. Had to wait in line to place order, then had a 15 to 20 minute wait for the food. Staff was very friendly. Nice. Iced tea was very good

Hot crispy fried catfish plate! Not greasy and lightly battered. The baked beans and coleslaw are very nice accompaniment to the catfish. The potato salad was sold out by the time we showed up which means they are BOMB! Next time next time…

Small portions of food for too much money. They literally charge almost $8 for only a handful of lettuce. They put only enough salad to barely fill entree portion of a to-go container. They gave me two cucumbers and two slices of tomato that you would put on a burger. And filled the other half of the to-go container with fork, dressing and croutons and crackers, which at any other restaurant would normally be on the outside of the box to prevent contamination from the outside of the containers and plastic wrappers to the food. The salad was only worth about $4.00……!! Then when I made a post saying that the salad they sold me was small and tag them in it, Instead of them doing the professional thing such as contacting me and trying to rectify the issue that I had with the food they

Can’t tell you how many times I passed this place and never knew it was here. Situated in two old houses, this is bonafide hole in the wall lunch spot. You can’t beat their lunch specials. We had the (huge & homemade) hamburger steak w/grilled onions & gravy, rice & gravy with butter beans and a roll. Tea is included and it was $11.99, you really can’t beat that nowadays. Service was great. The only recommendation I have is to add some a little radio or music in the back dining area. It was a bit quiet.
