Solid Mexican Taqueria style restaurant. Food was good, service was fast and friendly. I was the only white guy in the place, which usually means the food will be good and consistently good. You can fool a few tourists driving through town, but you aren’t fooling the local families for long. I ordered a chicken burrito and it was good, the meat had a really good flavor. And the sauce was very good. I usually don’t go for the wet burritos, but am glad i tried this one. Salsas were good. Green was mild, red was a little hotter but not crazy.

Hand made tortilla tacos, handmade tortilla! I ordered three lengua and two tripa tacos, the last two were crispy (which is what one expect when ordering tripa) Loaded with meat. Simply delicious. Friendly and smiling staff. I surely will back and try the chilaquiles

I come here now , from now on , opens at 8:00 Sat & Sunday, I like to walk into town to get a coffee , the new coffee shop in town does not open until 9 or 10 and frequently late , closed at 2:00 . The Breakfast Burrito here is excellent. The coffee is Basic Pot Coffee, which I prefer . This establishment has a nice Buzz .

This is a great little Mexican restaurant on 99 in Lafayette. The food is good The tortillas are handmade. It’s a nice quiet little restaurant. Bathrooms are clean. They also do quite a bit of takeout which is nice. For a sit-down Mexican restaurant this is the place I prefer to go to.
