Traveling through on a road trip with the family… and my husband wanted fish… We found Martin’s Fish House on Google maps.. and WOW! This was the BEST FISH I’ve ever had!!! I still think about it. Beside the food being AMAZING, the staff are good, kind people and the service was great! Thank you for a memorable meal and experience on our family road trip! We’ll be back when we’re traveling through again!!

The heavy set lady at the counter always has a dry nasty attitude. She has one in person and over the phone. Ridiculous and uncalled for. People are paying good money to eat here. At least she can pretend to care that the public is probably how their bills are getting paid. I love supporting Black owned businesses, but sometimes I swear it’s not worth it. Being and staying humble will carry you a long way.

Found this place while driving one day. The beautiful vintage sign caught my attention! I love vintage signs and i love fish houses and i think this is perfect timing! So i wasted no time and tried this place. My work has allowed me to be all over Mississippi, small town and big town, i always try the local fish houses and i have tried quite many. But Wow, i can say that this is definitely in my Top 5 list! I mean, most places only have catfish or catfish and pan trout. But Martin’s they have them both plus Buffalo and ocean perch! And their fish is done best, juicy and not over cooked with just the right amount of breading not to alter the flavor of the fish, good crunch and crispiness and almost no trace of grease! Very nice subtle flavor and delicious. Portions are more than enough and right on the dollar! The place is homey and the staff are good people! Been to this place many times and each time is pleasantly good eating. My friends loved it too when i recommended it to them.

My first time eating at this restaurant and I had the butterfly shrimp. The flavor was good but the shrimp was cooked too long. It’s not supposed to have rubber texture..not ok for the price!

The shrimp platter with a sde salad, fries are great. The tattar sauce a must have. Major problem PARKING! Not enough. My suggestion take someone with you. They can run in and get the food while you circle the block. Also try one the desserts. They ate great!
