Wow. I have eaten in a lot of places and I have to say this may be one of my favorite. The Caesar salad dressing is unbelievable. The croutons in there are like a meal in itself. The fillet was melt in your mouth delicious. The crab shrimp scampi was to die for. What a great evening at a fantastic place. And the bourbon wasn’t too bad either.

We stopped here unexpectedly and sat at the bar because we didn’t have reservations. The food and atmosphere were amazing, the service was top notch. Cool vibe to the whole place with upscale food, minus the stuffiness of some upscale places. Views of the river were amazing as well. We will definitely return!

I NEVER leave reviews. I’ve never truly cared enough to leave a review as I’m not too picky or bothered by a negative experience. But this restaurant was so bad that I felt compelled to leave a review. Me and my girlfriend were visiting the city to watch the Steelers for the very first time. Game was done and we were to the restaurant around 10:30 pm. Maybe this played a part. When we arrived the greeting staff was very friendly and welcoming, which is about where any positives ended. The dining area was so dark that when we were seated I could hardly see my girlfriend sitting maybe 4-5 feet from me on the other side of the table. The only source of light came from the blinding strobe lights they had darting all over the room. The music was just as bad. They played music that you would expect to hear at a nightclub, and it was played so loud we had to almost yell to hear each other. And if it couldn’t be worse, our waiter was so quiet we probably wouldn’t have heard him in a library, I just started to pretend I could hear him because it wasn’t worth it to ask him to repeat himself over and over. Now to the food. I took a risk and ordered the sweet and sour calamari, which was cooked well but just wasn’t for me. My girlfriend ordered a mozzarella ball which seemed interesting but came out cold. In hindsight we probably should’ve known that ordering a literal ball of mozzarella would probably not be a great experience. I ordered the ribeye for my entree, which was priced at 60+ dollars. Now the restaurant was advertised as a nicer establishment so the price wasn’t off putting, until they brought ONLY the steak. You’d think for the price they charged that I would get some sort of vegetable or something. The steak was nothing special, tasted good but wouldn’t have paid 60 dollars for it in hindsight. All in all a terrible experience.

I’ve heard very mixed reviews but myself and 3 colleagues had a tremendous experience. I typically would go for filet but not a seafood guy and the filet comes with shrimp, etc on it so I went NY strip Martorano with sweet peppers and sharp provolone on it and it was delicious. Chicken cutlet parm was great as well as I sampled some from others. Fresh mozz, the meatball, and calamari apps were all great as well.

1st and last time at this restaurant. Service was extremely slow. Others came after us and had there meals and left before we were served. There were 4 of us. 2 meals were served and our waiter told us we should eat them while they were hot. 3rd meal came about 10 minutes later. 4th meal came after 3 of us were done eating. Had to ask for silverware. They brought the silverware and sat it on a plate. Asked for separate checks …they said they don’t do that. Asked for more bread…it never came. Atmosphere was to loud…food was overpriced as compared to other classier restaurants in Pittsburgh.

Sorely disappointed heard so many good things couldn’t wait to go. What a total disappointment. Would never recommend or go back. Waiter was rude arrogant and unaccommodating. Basically stated I had to have a salad dressing on my salad that I don’t like. Have never had a restaurant refuse to offer a dressing alternative and suggest you eat something you don’t want or like. I could have made better penne with vodka sauce at home with any generic vodka sauce from the grocery store. So if offending the chef is not recommended I just did. Overpriced under performance at it’s best. Not to mention watching someone bring served the death penalty and being electrocuted to death during dinner one the big screen TV??? Who on god’s good earth thinks that’s a good idea. Restaurant needs a new business plan for sure. WOULD not recommend to anyone. Would have give negative stars if I could have.
