I visited with family for Sunday brunch to celebrate a birthday. My shrimp & grits and chicken & waffles were delicious! Everyone else in my group enjoyed their food as well. Our server, Nate, was attentive and the general ambiance was welcoming. There was also a live DJ. While the restaurant was busy, we did not feel crowded. I will be back!

We really enjoyed brunch. We randomly stopped by and didn’t know they go by reservations but you’re able to sit at the bar if you don’t have one. The drinks were strong and the food was very good. Everyone was very attentive and there was not a long wait for food or drinks.

I was in town to visit a good friend. I let him know to line up the restaurants for the crew to visit. We all fell for the wings and the zucchini fries. . They were truly amazing. Happy Hour was very chill and welcoming.

First time in and for being a new operation, service was very smooth. Food arrived timely and our server was able to answer all our Qs. The Rose Paloma brunch cocktail was fantastic, though mine arrived without garnish and with melted ice. The shrimp and grits were impressive – I did not add the catfish but the portion was enough without it. The chicken that topped the chicken and waffles was a little shocking – chicken wings rather than tenders (not my preference, and the menu really should specify this). Overall I was very impressed for it being early in their tenure. Just a few things to tweak but we’ll be back and look forward to seeing the improvements! Very happy to have them in the area.

Recently visited Marvin’s Restaurant and Lounge for Saturday brunch. The young lady Brittany I think that was her name was such a delight. The bar area was very busy but she was very professional and friendly which that can make or break any Establishment. The food was on point I ordered the Catfish and grits food came out hot and flavorful. There was a live DJ which really gave a vibe in itself. I highly recommend to anyone that’s looking for a unique fun brunch experience. They offer outdoor seating bar seating and a whole dining room experience if you want to sit on that side. The restaurant restrooms were very clean and even had a cute mouthwash station. We drove an hour and it was worth it. I definitely will be back.

Went for dinner last night, it was delicious! Soul food sliders a little salty but everything else was delicious. My favorites were the zucchini fries, apple pie margarita and catfish slider. Kat our server was great as well, I’ll be back!

We had a reservation for 8 showed up 20 minutes late and was still able to be seated. Wait time was short. Food was great. I had chicken and waffles. The waffle melted in my mouth and the chicken was nice and crispy. The fish and grits from my friends were also delicious. Music and vibes were good as well. Would receive.

Visited Columbus for the weekend for my best friend birthday decided we wanted to go to brunch before we got back on the road to Detroit. We made a reservation that morning which we were able to make. We originally set by the restroom( no one wants to sit by restrooms) took at least 20 minutes to move us to another table. Finally got to the table took another 20 minutes for our mimosas to come out took another 30 minutes or so for the food to come out. Shrimp and Grits was a 10/10 the bacon was thin cut and very greasy dripping everywhere when you picked it up. I highly recommend thick cut bacon in this type of establishment. The atmosphere was a vibe! The customer service was a 1/10 it appears that no one knew what was going on.
