Fast, friendly, homey. What more can a trucker ask when he can’t get home for a hot meal? This was my first visit. I will be back when traveling this way again. The food was cooked perfectly, the staff was very friendly, and the decor behind the counter brought to mind childhood memories of grandma’s kitchen. Well worth the walk from the truck stop across the road. Locals, if you haven’t been here to eat, shame on you. You have something many small towns no longer have. It is a treasure. Preserve it.

The diner was busy when I came, but still we were seated right away and the service was impeccable. Food and drink came out quickly, staff was very friendly but not intrusive, and they very regularly checked in to make sure we had enough coffee and water.

Look at this sausage gravy over biscuits and home fries, SOOOO delicious. I couldn’t finish so I had plenty of left over for lunch too. The staff were so attentive and friendly. As any good diner would be, it was busy but not a long wait at all. Kid friendly. Inexpensive. Delicious!
