Was in the mood for fried chicken. My family only eats dark meat. That is just our preference. Went in and tried to order a family meal dark meat only. They wouldn’t sell dark meat only. I expected to pay additional, some places charge extra, and that is OK. Nope, wouldn’t do it. They said we had to take mixed. Popeyes was across the street. They will sell dark only.

Took forever for our 2 meals to be done. I got chicken nuggets since I didn’t see tenders on the menu, to split with my son. They looked and tasted like McDs chicken nuggets. Disgusting. I couldn’t even eat it. My husband like his meal and the mashed potatoes aren’t bad. Fries were kinda dried out too. I figured a chicken place would have done better with nuggets.

Ordered chicken and shrimp for takeout via the drive through which took so terribly long. The order taker was very courteous and friendly. The order was properly filled. The cole slaw was very good. Mashed potatoes with gravy was quite salty, beans were boring, like fresh out of a can. The chicken and shrimp were ok, but not much different then available at a gas station.

Basic fried chicken, shrimp, gizzards, and wings. I walked in and ordered the 4 piece special of fried chicken. I picked french fries and cole slaw and it also came with a dinner roll. Average at best on everything. The chicken was super fresh and hot though.

Went here today. There is a 3 piece white chicken that I ordered. I was told at 2:00 they were all out of white meat and could not accommodate me. Now I listened and the 3 people ahead of me was told the same. He then said ok I can go ahead and do it for you gentlemen. I hate that he did that to me because I will not be going back.

MFC is fantastic. Best fried chicken we’ve found in Florida! Staff is always friendly. You’ll have to wait but it’s worth it. Food is always fresh and hot. Great value for the price. You get a ton of food. Don’t forget to try the fried clams!

Stopped in while visiting my parents. First timer as there are no Maryland Fried Chickens in SW Florida. It’s kind of funny, there is a KFC next door and a Popeyes across the street. No shortage of fried chicken in Leesburg
