The question I have is how much is the sandwich in the picture? If you guessed $6.95, you’d be incorrect as I was on Tuesday, June 6. EVERY ham on rye was marked $6.95, but when I paid for my lunch, the woman at the counter politely told me it was $7.95. I pointed to the marked price and also informed her that every one was marked as the same. It wasn’t a one-off. Again, she told me it was $7.95 and proceeded to charge me as so.

Best place for food or kitchen necessities in Traverse City. The Turkey Gobbler is so delicious and I also love the Tuba Pasta!! Their customer service is always amazing. Every time you go to Mary’s Kitchen Port, your day will be brightened and your tummy will be happy!

Best premade sandwiches ever! Cooking supply store but they do a booming business selling premade sandwiches and baked cookies for carry out. Also available are chips and drinks (not soda or energy). Perfect for bag lunch days or beach trips.

Every time I am in town I go to Mary’s Kitchen Port at least once for a Gobbler. Pre-made turkey and chedder cheese sandwich with all the fixings. Huge filling sandwich for less than $6, what’s not to love about that!! Always a warm friendly greeting from the staff. Lots of kitchen gadgets, baked goods, soups, salads, sandwiches, drinks, and sides. A local neighborhood gem for decades. Perfect place to go if you are off to the beach, or a park, or for a picnic or sail; pick up some sandwiches, bars and cookies, sides like blue cheese coleslaw, something crunchy, and something to drink all in one easy visit. Plenty of parking around back off Maple and the alley between Front and 5th.
