The steak burrito was a great size and it was under $10!! The salsas were both good, red is hot and green is more mild. My burrito was a bit on the salty side, but I would eat here again.

4/22/2023: 2nd visit. Saw the reply to my review so stopped back in to get some flan, along with some tacos and horchata. Huge disappointment as they were out of the flan. I got the fried ice cream and let’s just say that I wouldn’t order that again. Horchata was more watery, not as creamy and flavorful as the other day. Tacos on the other hand hit the spot!!

Marys just recently opened where La Placita was previously located on the square. We tried the Roja (pork) and verde (chicken) tamales. They were both good, but I preferred the verde. The pork and steak tacos with cilantro and onion were delicious. I love that they serve it with grilled onion and jalapeno. The green and red salsas were both good. The red has a nice kick to it. The salsa that came with the complimentary chips and salsa for dine in was a little lacking. Overall great food and we will be back.

My first experience was fantastic. My second experience the waitress had a loud drunken friend in the restaurant. They were speaking to one another obnoxiously loud across the restaurant. Not the reason for the the review but very weird. The reason for the review is I got so…. SICK before my meal was even finished that I got light headed and almost passed out in the washroom. Stumbled out side for fresh air which was the only reason I managed to stay on my feet. Me and my friend were both sick for at least 2 days. Dine at your own risk!

Under new ownership and it shows. Food was miles above what it used to be. It was much cleaner and inviting. The music was a little loud but other than that we will be coming back. May be my new favorite Mexican in Woodstock. Try the pork. It was sweet, savory and salty. Perfect on my tacos. The guacamole was fresh and thick. The chips were hot and crisp. The salsa was different than I was used to but don’t allow that to stop you. It was very good.

This is my first time trying this place since it opened. I just had the pastor tacos for taco Tuesday and by God they were the best I’ve ever had. I couldn’t believe how good they were. I’ll be coming back here every Tuesday for as long as I live in Woodstock

Very good enchiladas con mole, and the salsa for the taco chips was unusual and excellent – not very spicy, but very flavorful. The restaurant decor is modest and not very interesting, but it is comfortable, pleasant, and clean.
