This very unpretentious, kids friendly, informal place to get good meal while enjoying Sonoma plaza. My pizza was pretty decent and Prosecco was bubbly just right. Everything was simple and enjoyable. Great place to have fun with kids and feel like home.

Been going to Mary’s for many years. Last night the dinner was an absolute shock. Food and service very poor. Ordered a salad and hamburger and both came to the table at the same time. Hamburger was over cooked and dry. The waitress put the food on the table without any condiments and walked off. Empty appetizer dishes remained on the table throughout the meal. Water glasses remained empty the entire meal. Bathrooms are filthy and need to be serviced. Very disappointed in the whole evening.

There’s very little options for vegans in Sonoma. We stumbled upon Mary’s Pizza Shack, they had vegan cheese and vegan options. This is lovely to see. The pizza was so good that weekend forgot to take a picture until the end. Rhw service is great. This place has been around since 1959.

Mary’s Pizza Shack is a great place for awesome pizza and homemade pasta and ravioli! Their customer service is excellent and the atmosphere is very relaxed and Mary was such an amazing host who showed me how to put a pizza box together let me and my wife compete against one another to see who could make the most! My wife and I have been patronizing Mary’s Pizza Shack for quite a few years now. I’m not gonna say “We’ve been coming here for 30 years”, but I WILL say at least 8 or 10. We went to this particular restaurant in Sonoma (Spain street) again about a week ago, and we were treated like absolute DIRT by some childish little girl named Vanessa. I really don’t understand how/why Mary’s would allow someone like this to deal directly with their customers. I later called the manager (Adam) to let him know how we felt, however, I quickly realized that Adam and Vanessa are like two peas in a pod. I found Adam to be very callus, unapologetic, and simply uninterested in what I had to say. I got the impression that he was totally uninterested in anything I had to say, and couldn’t get me off his back soon enough. It was at that point that my wife and I decided that we will NEVER visit this Mary’s Pizza Shack again. We know our absence isn’t going to cause them to close their doors, but they should keep in mind that it’s a lot easier to lose customers than it is to gain them. We’ll make you a deal though… you guys keep Vanessa and Adam in your restaurant, and we’ll spend our money elswhere.
