This place is amazing! The food is incredible, it’s clean and the service is amazing! We got a steak torta and pupusas and they were both delicious! We wished we lived closer so we could visit more often! Can’t wait to go back!

The food here is GAS 10X times better than chipotle. All the food here has TASTE. Their grilled Buffalo chicken wings. Their Steak burritos are FIREE. They also threw in a bit of that Salvadorian taste by adding Pupusas in their menu; GREAT PUPUSAS they are not stingy with their cheese or loroco(pork) I recommend it big time! The 4 person staff are super nice and friendly that’s what makes the place feel like a small family owned business. Don’t forget to try their Flan and 3 leches too

Today, was my 2nd time at this restaurant. Our last time, it was a mediocre experience. I went here at 8:33pm on a Friday with my 5 year old. As we entered the store we saw a couple walking out and another table of people sitting eating their meal. We intended on purchasing 2 meals, a salad bowl and a kids meal and taking it out. We did not intend to eat in. The staff refused to serve me shrimp. The cashier in glasses repeated more than once that I was not allowed to order shrimp, that they did not serve it. (Even though it was on the menu) and I was willing to pay additional, if need be. The toppings were already removed from the bar and on the back bar/ table (not visible from the front). I asked what the toppings were and they did not respond. When I asked again, they said “what do you want” in a flat monotone voice and I asked again, what the toppings were, before I just looked up at the menu. At that time, the cashier quickly read off what the toppings were while she stood next to them while the girl who was filling the bowl was holding the bowl staring at the toppings. I asked from the beginning that the guacamole be on the side, where the woman who was putting the toppings in had her back to me and added a large amount of guacamole to the bowl. I paid for a side of pico de gallo, that they charged me $2.25 for and didn’t give me. This place was not busy and it was clear they didn’t want anyone coming into order before 9 pm. The woman who was filling the bowl turned around (who looked irritated I was asking for toppings in the bowl) and looked at the cashier telling her in spanish that she already put the guacamole on top. The cashier then said do you want us to take it off now? The woman adding the toppings then took the container and smashed the top into the bowl, while making this expression (like oh ‘well). Both the women, the cashier and the woman adding the toppings had the worse and dryest tone and attitude towards my daughter and I. For being on the North End, this was the absolute worse customer service I have ever experienced. We were not in the facility for more than 6 minutes. We left at 8:40 pm. From having charged me for a side, I didn’t receive to being completely uninterested in serving me with not even a half decent respect/ customer service, I do not intend to return to this facility. We were the only people ordering, with the intention to order and take it to go. The one group of people left as we were filling our drinks. I tipped them 15% hoping that the quality of food would be decent and that the one side of pico de gallo I ordered would at least be in a plastic ramakin and in the bag. The cashier stared at us while we filled our drinks, when she could’ve taken two seconds to lift her fingers to fill the side ramakin of pico de gallo. I did not make any small talk, I simply viewed the menu, ordered and waited to pay. If the customer experience is this poor in 6 minutes on a to go order, I cannot imagine eating in this place. If the employees hate working this much, it would be reasonable to reconsider the time to 8:00 pm. Because the 9:00 pm sign on the door means nothing to them. If you show up 30 minutes before, Plan, I mean PLAN to be treated less than human. I absolutely love Tex Mex and have always heard positive reviews of this place as to why I went. Which may have been from customer’s who went when there was a better staff in restaurant, but I cannot recommend this place. Even my daughter made a comment that they seemed mad at us. We both felt unwanted while standing in this facility ordering a small to go dinner. Don’t go here, if you can avoid it. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I promise there are other places in Hagerstown that are kind and are happy to serve you, even if its 30 minutes before they close. Even if your order takes 6 minutes for them to lift there fingers and fill a salad bowl and type on a cashier. There are far better places with a great staff who are happy to take your money and ensure you are a happy customer leaving.

Pregnant lady here! And OMG, tried the barbacoa tacos and I haven’t stopped thinking about them since . They are absolutely delicious, full of flavor, the texture was rich, the other taco ingredients were extremely fresh. and I’ll be sure to have my bf grab more than 2 next time!!

It’s been hard to find good pupusas and plantains since moving to Hagerstown earlier this year. Mary’s Tex-Mex has been the best that I have found and worth sharing! Their pupusas have great flavor and the plantains were soft and tasted great as well! I will definitely be back for more.
