Arguably the best lamb vindaloo in DC! Excellent service on a Thursday night. I have passed by this restaurant many times and finally decided to give this a try. It is indeed a hidden gem in the neighborhood. Consistent quality at a reasonable price. Half price bottles of wine on Thursday evenings.

One of the best Indian restaurant in DC! I go to this restaurant almost every other week. The staff is very friendly and the chef cooks authentic Indian food. You can’t got wrong with anything on the menu.

The food was fantastic. Masala art is a quiet nice restaurant that offers great authentic Indian food. The service here was great as well. I was a big fan of all the nan options to go with your food. When I’m in the area I would for sure stop by here again.

The food was delicious, the servicer was gracious and accommodating. I’m not an unabashed fan of Indian cuisine but I’m glad I allowed myself to be talked into dining at Masala Art.

Outstanding Indian restaurant often overlooked. Delicious and delicate flavors, well executed dishes with authentic spice and presentation. Owner oversees service and makes every effort to make your meal memorable. Favorites are all their Briyani rice dishes, Elaichi Gosht and Murgh Tikka Masala.

This isn my go to spot for Indian food in the city. Less trendy than other better known Indian restaurants in the city but on par quality wise. Paneer, naan and the chicken with cashew and saffron gravy is signature combo.

I was considering a 4 star review bc the waitress seemed really pushy at first, barely giving us enough time to see the menu but she ended up being very helpful and kind and incredibly attentive. The food was absolutely amazing, can’t recommend the goat cheese Naan enough! Everything was piping hot and so, so delicious! I wish I lived in DC just so that I could eat here regularly.

Gave 2 stars because it was edible, but easily the worst chicken tikka masala I’ve ever had… Will not be returning.

First I want to say I’m proud of who I am. This was the worst restaurant I’ve ever been too. All the rice was extremely dry…. Nothing we had was freshly cook. It tasted like it was yesterday food. I had a party of 6, each entree was $20 to $29 and the appetizer we spent close to $90. I felt heartbroken to know how badly my party was severed day old food. At NO time our food was hot and fresh. I hope the owner see this comment and I also I want a FULL REFUND. plus we left a nice tip. Please reply to this message. Thank you very much.

Best Indian food in the immediate area. Really nice flavors in some of the dishes. Ask owner / manager for recommendations. Just opened back up for lunch with a special menu.
