As an Indian & Vegetarian we were unimpressed with the food. It was all okay. Only the dal fry & rice were DELICIOUS, but everything else not so much. We ordered papadum- it was burnt and they said they don’t have any more because everything was premade and they didn’t have more unburnt. The paneer we ordered was drenched with red food coloring. It was unappealing to us, though I get that some folks like their food to look a certain way. We were very excited to try the momos, but part of the momos were uncooked, and not stuffed well.

I don’t eat Indian food often but when I do I want it to be good. I was super hesitate to go in here since it’s up in Big Bear and wasn’t to sure what to expect being a small hole in the wall spot but turns out it was the best Indian food I’ve ever had. The Okra dish had so much flavor. And the lentil soup hit the spot being a cold time of year.

We walked in twice and it was empty, not sure why. Next door thai place is horrible, but always packed. I regret we went there yesterday and didn’t stay here. Food is delicious! Portions were good. We had paneer and butter chicken. The regulate the spiciness level for your liking.

I didn’t really like it. We got a bunch of things and I would say it’s okay indian food. Don’t get the noodles dishes. It is pretty good food for big bear for the price though.

So I’m Indian and this place was just ok. My litmus test for any Indian restaurant is their goat biriyani. I should have known when they asked what my choice in spice level would be between 1 and 10 that the flavor would be compromised. Nonetheless, this tasted rather good!

The food here is absolutely delicious! We ordered the butter chicken, garlic naan, chicken tikka masala, samosas, and rice. My favorite was the garlic naan, it is perfect in every way. The waiter was kind and we received our food fairly quickly. Great portion sizes too!
