Masala Pot offers delicious and homely Tamil cuisine, true to its authentic flavors. The uttapam and chutneys specially were the exact replica of what you would get in a tamil home with no extra frills added. The simple ambience allows the food to shine, but cleanliness needs improvement, likely due to recent ownership changes. Nonetheless, the warm and welcoming owners add a charming touch, I’d recommend for those seeking genuine Tamil home cooking.

I had lunch here for ஆடி அமாவாசை. I wasn’t fasting but my parents were, they had special vegetarian meal for that special day. Also I had Sri Lankan traditional Koththu which is tasty with the gravy. Also you can feel the Koththu making sound. It was a rainy day, ended with the nice food with hot Sri Lankan tea.

The flavors were outstanding, and everything tasted freshly prepared. The friendly staff and cozy ambiance made it even better. Impressed by our lunch, we couldn’t resist returning for dinner. It was equally fantastic, with a variety of delectable dishes that continued to impress. If you’re a fan of South Indian cuisine, this place is a must-visit. I really enjoy this Sri lanken spot. It’s nice to have dosas made in record time for takeout. I have multiple dishes from the day it opened. the fish cutlet and fish or chicken roll are something I haven’t seen in other south Asian cuisine. The fish cutlet is a breaded fried croquette that consist of shredded fish with potatoes,chili peppers,curry and an array of spices. The chicken and fish rolls had almost the same taste as the cutlets the difference being the fish cutlets are rolled into a meat ball then breaded and fried ,but the rolls are rolled like a taco in a dough/batter then breaded and fried. The kottu is a dish consist of roti/parotta flat bread that has been minced fined then used like rice fried with eggs, chicken, onion, peppers and other spices. The cheese onion chili masala dosa was light and flaky filled with super spicy potato masala covered in fresh onion and slivered chili peppers. Definitely going back highly recommend

Randomly stumbled into this gem and it was easily my favourite part of visiting Buffalo. We got the masala dosa and chili onion dosa and it was amazing!! It was so flavourful and everything about this spot makes me feel like I’m back in India (in a good way). Great flavour, I highly recommend and I will definitely be back.
